the department said upon further review of the receipts, the cost was about $13,000 lower than reported to Parliament, and included three dinners, three breakfasts, two lunches and various snacks for 29 passengers and 17 crew.

Catering does not include alcoholic beverages consumed aboard the aircraft.

Simon’s trip also used up 146,872 litres of fuel, costing taxpayers $248,127.02 in refuelling expenses.

Another big spender.
Last week, it was also revealed that Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault and 5 staff members spent $101,712 in taxpayer money to attend a climate conference in Glasgow.

The charges included $12,653 worth of meals, $37,171 for airfare, and nearly $50,000 in hotel fees.

Trudeau? We haven't got the space to include his spending.

Grocery shopping today, (company approaching this weekend), gasping in awe at price today compared to two weeks ago.

At one time, not that long ago, I had a good handle on what items cost stored in my computer-like brain.

Can’t seem to mesh the reality of today with yesterday. Menu in hand, ingredients listed, still wound up looking for substitutes like, maybe they’ll take me out to dinner?

Bewildering is the name of the game now. How many substitutions can you make before realizing that the photos on boxes might be the meal itself?

Yes, and the funniest part was that she was in Iceland for a "climate conference" - flying in on a government jet, using a $71,000 limo to attend. You just can't make this crap up man.
