Trudeau: His Unpopularity, His Failures

Post by Babba_not_Gump »

Trudeau's popularity is dropping fast. Will he voluntarily resign before the next election in order to save face or will the Liberal leadership ask him to leave?

A new Leger poll isn't looking good for him.

https://nationalpost.com/news/canadians ... adlineNews
Canadians disapprove of Justin Trudeau’s job as prime minister and feel he is divisive, national opinion survey says

A few stats from the poll
Dislike for Trudeau was strongest in B.C. and Manitoba and Saskatchewan, at 60 per cent, followed closely by Alberta and Quebec at 58 per cent.
Those are big numbers coming out of Quebec, where the Liberals rely heavily on votes.

More than 60 per cent of respondents agreed that Trudeau has been divisive during his time in office, and more than 40 per cent felt Canada became a worse country since his election, according to the survey.
Arrogance?
Ignorance?
A leader who is this divisive is out of tune with his fellow citizens.

So what's it going to be Justin? Should he stay or should he go?

Oh come on BB49, we all know Skippy PP isn't fit for office, so don't even question Trudeau. Trudeau is the best politician and is doing everything he can for everyday Canadians. Trudeau understands all our struggles and is the least corrupt politician ever to exist!

It's the conservatives that don't resonate with Canadians. We absolutely need 25 more years of Truduea. If we don't elect Trudeau, we will see abortion laws overturned, gun laws completely removed, LGBTQ rights completely removed, slavery will return and all hell will break loose. Oh, we will all have to be catholic after too.

So who cares about Trudeaus ratings? He's the only person for the job and to suggest otherwise makes you a bigot!

Way to go, B.C.!
Trudeau has spent the last few years cultivating support from a subset of Canadians who do not place as much value in free expression as liberals have in the past https://nationalpost.com/opinion/jamil- ... ree-speech

He's an amazing guy, alright. Small wonder his followers are willing to put aside any pretense of rationality in his defence.

I'm a comparison shopper politically, JT and the Liberals are still lightyears more preferred than Harper and the Cons.

If you hadn't limited that to 'politically,' I'd shudder to imagine what might be in your refrigerator. :200:

Come on now, we were told by our bought and paid for media, who just parroted a PMO press release with zero journalism applied, that Justin was "mobbed" by admirers in Calgary on Sunday. He's doing fantastic in Alberta, just ask Katie Telford!

I think that was sarcasm ;-)

Justin Trudeau will go down in history as the second PM to screw up Canada. The first was Pierre Trudeau. It isn't a surprise. Justin will do it ten times quicker since he is ten times dumber. His popularity is suffering world-wide with more people calling him a socialist totalitarian black-faced Marxist dictator scum bag, every day. His popularity follows Biden. The conservatives are way ahead without a leader. A year ago, 30% of all Canadians said Trudeau is the worst divisive PM ever and Canada is on the wrong track... must be 100% by now. Once his reputation is ruined, it is forever. He will remain behind the scenes influencing evil people with his stinking wealth.

The difference between 60 and 58 percent is really not much. Canadians don't like any of their politicians very much right now. The Conservatives have to select a unifying leader if they want to win the next elections. Trudeau didn't get elected PM because he is popular.
It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

Yes, Justin will probably get re-elected in his riding, that's for sure, but the other parties usually run weak candidates in those ridings they know they can't win.
