David Suzuki Retires

Post by Jlabute »

I for one am glad to see that David Suzuki the demented eco-terrorist and climate hypocrite, is sun-downing. The same person who commented on blowing up Canadian pipelines, the same foundation that funds extreme activism. Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil now have innocent blood on their hands from their stupid stunts, and I blame this partly on David Suzuki and his message. Hopefully, the future is not full of science deniers and liars such as him.

Bye-bye David, enjoy your mansions and millions!

I recall him bragging about taking three minute showers in order to save the environment, and was hoping to get that number lower.
Maybe now he'll have time for longer ones.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Unfortunately, he's only retiring from the 'Nature of Things' according to the article. Too bad we have to put up with the virtue signaling fool and his obnoxious condescending soapbox ramblings for awhile yet.

ETA, to clarify I was referring to this article on Castanet.

https://www.castanet.net/news/Canada/39 ... gs-#392281

Eco-activist David Suzuki says he will retire next spring from his long-running post as host of CBC’s “The Nature of Things.”

imo: David's contributions over the decades have been monumental, and will live on- long after he is no more.
I look forward to seeing his contributions in the coming years.

Thank You David Suzuki  BRAVO!

You seem like a nice inquisitive lady but what the H has DS actually contributed to science besides limited research on the dreaded fruit fly? He is currently a narrator at best.

I posted my opinion and leave it at that - am not here to convert.

The funny thing about this statement is that both those on either side of the human-caused climate change question are saying the same, both sides can't be right ... in the end this kind of claim just becomes a dog-whistle for whichever side one is playing for ... like Sir David Attenborough, David Suzuki has had a long and storied career in the public eye with nature as the focus and I wish him well with the direction his life gets to take next ...

I don't think that will be a problem. LOL

I was just asking for the reasoning behind your assertion that his contributions (to science??) over the decades have been monumental.

Unfortunately, Suzuki is a giant idiot and a massive liar. His "legacy" is much like Pierre Trudeau's - mostly fabricated and 100% unearned.

Yup, especially those who didn't learn anything from amazing people like Dr. Suzuki.
