She'll have even more credibility if she denounces UNDRIP.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

No apologies necessary for telling the truth. The unvaccinated were some of the most discriminated against in Canadian history.

She should completely turn the tables on vaccines by making those who want shots pay for them. It makes no sense to have vaccinations paid for out of the common pool of money that the province has. Freedom of choice now. End the mandates now.

this woman is making History  kudos to her for standing up for the People in her Province. It was absolutely disgusting how divided our Country became over a vaccine and how the unvaxxed were treated like garbage. And her breaking from the WEF because she knows it does not benefit her Province is ground breaking, finally someone has the guts to stand up for the People

I think so too. She will take that big lump of coal and beat the Alberta Care system with it as well. Let’s see how things go. May end up moving to Alberta in the future as the best province in Canada.

It's hardly surprising that a far right fringe candidate like Smith, who became premier with a whopping 30,000 votes (or if you're Theo Fleury, 100 million) would be celebrated by the far right fringe. Danielle Smith makes Liz Truss look like a genius, and Smith's nonsense is making Alberta as much of an embarrassment, if not more, as Truss' tenure was for the UK. She's so bad, informed voters in Alberta would prefer going back to the Jason Kenney gongshow rather than deal with the vocal conspiracy theorist Smith.

But hey, far right fringe anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists should enjoy their short-lived time of having a premier in Canada who shares their unacceptable views. If there's one silver lining to Smith's premiership it's that she's all but guaranteeing the UCP will be taken out behind the shed and put out of its misery for embarrassing Alberta, and rightly so!
It's that special time of year when conservatives stupidly act like they're not allowed to say Merry Christmas.

The unvaccinated were far from being the most discriminated against group in Canadian history or even her lifetime. It's not remotely true. It's just ridiculous... and made even worse that people are buying into it.

This on the other hand is pure gold:

Alberta Tories excuse Danielle Smith’s ignorance of history by reminding us she is a product of the education system they built
https://www.thebeaverton.com/2022/10/al ... hey-built/
After Alberta’s Premier-designate, Danielle Smith, called unvaccinated people “the most discriminated group that I’ve ever witnessed,” members of her United Conservative Party were quick to remind voters that this gaffe can be easily explained by remembering she was educated by the public education system they and their forefathers ruined.

“The premier was born the year we took power, 1971, and she really is our ideal Albertan. What she lacks in basic historical knowledge she makes up for in our core values: being incredibly whiny, refusing to think of others, and blaming our problems on the rest of Canada,” said UCP member Keith Breckenridge.

Education experts have already said that only someone who received an Alberta education could possibly think that people choosing not to get a life-saving vaccine during a global pandemic has faced more prejudice than gay, Black or Indigenous Peoples amongst countless other groups protected by Alberta’s Human Rights Act.

A UCP spokesperson said, “We educated her, and this is exactly what we wanted. If you spend fifty years cutting public education, and replacing units on civil rights with units on how cool the 1988 Olympics were, you’re going to end up with a very specific kind of dummy. What we wanted was people who are good at arguing, but bad at knowing things.”

When asked to rank what she felt were the most discriminated against groups, Miss Smith issued the following Top Five: Unvaccinated People, Pretty Girls, Men Who Spread their Legs When They Sit on the Bus, Women Named Danielle, and People Who Are Told Their Starbucks Orders are Too Complicated and To Please Stop Shouting.
