How else does a slimy NDP commie get elected?
And she was "unaware" but poses with the head of one of the groups? C'mon, Chow, you're fulla Yangtze River discharge.

Pro-Beijing groups claim credit for helping Olivia Chow win Toronto mayoralty. She says she was unaware
As Olivia Chow campaigned successfully to become Toronto’s new mayor, she received some unsolicited help from controversial sources.
Two prominent community groups aligned with the Chinese government — including one that allegedly hosted a Chinese police station in Ontario — “went all out” to support Chow’s push to be mayor, supplying numerous volunteers to the effort, a letter from one of the groups claims.
A post last month on WeChat from Felicity Guo, deputy secretary general of the Canada Toronto Fuqing Business Association (CTFBA), one of the two groups, urged followers to back Chow. The message was accompanied by a photo of Guo, Chow and another woman.

Wanna bet that might include the Chinese national anthem?
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Does anyone recall the phrase from way back, "Fifth column"?
I'm beginning to think along those lines.

Oh there's no doubt that's what we're up against, and Justin's got the door wide open for them.A group of secret sympathizers or supporters of an enemy that engage in espionage or sabotage within defense lines or national borders.

Yup. Rome was corrupted and rotted not by the enemy beyond the gates, but the enemy harboured within.
We have to be on our guard, faithfully each and every day, to beat down the snake and its messages of ill will intent on destroying our country.

Now remember to bow to Chairman Xi Jinping and his grasshopper jt
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests. I am an old cantankerousness grump that happens to be very opinionated.

Re: Chinese interference in our elections
Well, well, what have we here surfacing the waters like a whale bent on beaching itself.
Seems that Chinese interference in Canadian affairs is not new, but a very old story going back at least 30 years. It got started around the time Mulroney was PM and Chretin followed the lead. Both ignored reports from Intelligence agencies and just lived with or looked away from China’s ill doings.
Now we are in a full blown situation of Chinese interference to which our (gag) PM drags his feet when it comes to a full investigation.
I hope everyone takes a couple of minutes to read this item, reflect, and ask yourselves this question:
Just who is it that’s running this country?
I am following this up in next post showing that a high level RCMP played along with the Chinese and now serving time. He, as far as I know, the ONLY one caught to date

Re: Chinese interference in our elections
Even top level RCMP played into the hands of Chinese interference, not just in elections but in pointing out to China their relocated citizens new addresses so that the China Govt could harass their diaspora easily.
Ashamed and sad that a once-revered institution such as the RCMP has sunk so low
But why? Was it for a few extra bucks to tuck away? Did he believe that the communist Chinese were the best type of govt? Did he hate Canada so much that he wanted to create strife?
Where there’s one there may be more just like him, willing to serve 2 masters.

William Majcher, a retired RCMP officer, has been arrested and charged with conspiracy and preparatory acts for the benefit of a foreign entity. He's been accused of helping the Chinese government identify and intimidate a person.
