Must be more enthusiastic about the job than the half a dozen, if not more, current or retired judges who have said 'thanks, but no thanks.' As one source tells the National Post, "We’ll hear things like, 'I'm in my seventies, I don’t have much time left. To end up in the news every week, I don’t know, I think I’m going to pass.' "

Seems we will never have the long-promised inquiry of Chinese Influencing Cdn politics.

The taint of Putz appointing a pal and the fallout from that debacle leaves a bad taste on the tongue, especially those who might have been willing to oversee the Inquiry at one time in the past.

Michael Chong will be speaking before this committee on September 12, and guess what takes place a few days later?
Canada's parliament convenes, September 18.

The squirming by the Liberals will be starting and by the time parliament is in they'll be changing diapers hourly.

Canada desperately needs for Jagmeet Singh to withdraw his support for the Liberals.

An interesting development, for sure, that Chong is asked by USA to speak about Chinese interference in Cdn elections. This is a surprise, to me, for one.

Btw, how are we doing on appointing a judge, a committee, or anyone at all to oversee an investigation right here, in Canada?

Since the fiasco of Putz appointing Johnson (who quit after the guffaws got too loud), it’s been somewhat quiet on that front as government-caused inflation has smacked us between the eyes. Money doesn’t talk,it screams.

Depending on or looking to Sell-out Singh to pull the rug out from Putz’s feet is a bridge too far for him. Might as well ask your cat to do the job. Cat would be more successful than Sell-out.
