Re: Chinese interference in our elections
This just in at National Post
The taint of Putz appointing a pal and the fallout from that debacle leaves a bad taste on the tongue, especially those who might have been willing to oversee the Inquiry at one time in the past.
We simply must rid ourselves of this gawd awful, corrupt, arrogant and self-serving excuse for govt
Seems we will never have the long-promised inquiry of Chinese Influencing Cdn politics.
Help wanted: Someone to oversee a possible public inquiry into foreign interference. Must be more enthusiastic about the job than the half a dozen, if not more, current or retired judges who have said 'thanks, but no thanks.' As one source tells the National Post, "We’ll hear things like, 'I'm in my seventies, I don’t have much time left. To end up in the news every week, I don’t know, I think I’m going to pass.' "

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

If we stop China from interfering in Canada, where will the Liberals get their money to pay off Justin's former student, to fund the Trudeau Foundation, and run the constant social media disinformation campaign and paid Liberal DI's?

Justin Trudeau is delaying a public inquiry on foreign interference in our democracy. Why is he so afraid of the truth?

A great opportunity to pull in a few extra bucks before retirement, as long as a percentage goes to the Liberal Party of Canada.George Orwell 1984 wrote: ↑Aug 22nd, 2023, 12:50 pm Now the liberals are looking to set up an” inquiry “ composed of liberals judges investigating liberals . Re: Chinese interference in our elections
It seems the Americans take Chinese political interference seriously. Not so in Canada.

U.S. politicians want to hear from MP Michael Chong on threats from China
Michael Chong will be speaking before this committee on September 12, and guess what takes place a few days later?
Canada's parliament convenes, September 18.
The squirming by the Liberals will be starting and by the time parliament is in they'll be changing diapers hourly.
Canada desperately needs for Jagmeet Singh to withdraw his support for the Liberals.

An interesting development, for sure, that Chong is asked by USA to speak about Chinese interference in Cdn elections. This is a surprise, to me, for one.Babba_not_Gump wrote: ↑Aug 31st, 2023, 12:58 pm It seems the Americans take Chinese political interference seriously. Not so in Canada.

Btw, how are we doing on appointing a judge, a committee, or anyone at all to oversee an investigation right here, in Canada?
Since the fiasco of Putz appointing Johnson (who quit after the guffaws got too loud), it’s been somewhat quiet on that front as government-caused inflation has smacked us between the eyes. Money doesn’t talk,it screams.
Depending on or looking to Sell-out Singh to pull the rug out from Putz’s feet is a bridge too far for him. Might as well ask your cat to do the job. Cat would be more successful than Sell-out.

Why is this allowed.
Investing in CCP owned Tencent which owns tiktok and interfered in Canadian Elections
And it is probably higher now after 3 years.

That common theme coming from Ottawa, "we're all in this together" sure rings true.featfan wrote: ↑Sep 1st, 2023, 7:46 am https://thinkpol.ca/2020/05/07/canada-p ... iolations/
