It's time for a national review of the government's COVID response. It was terrible, and resulted in the near revolt in Ottawa. But we know that won't happen until the current crop of scum is voted out.

IMO the Freedom Convoy brought out thousands from coast to coast who care about Canada & that frightened Trudeau which was why the Bank accounts were frozen & people were put in jail.
Unfortunately because of the lack of truthful reporting it's divided people.

If this is in the wrong thread my apologies. I saw another freedom convoy today, the usual pickup trucks, flags, f*** Trudeau stickers and various other signs suggesting we fight for our freedoms. So here is my question, looking for a rationale explanation. What freedoms have we lost and need to fight for? Personally, I have all the freedoms I have always had and am not sure what purpose these protests serve. Putting aside the inflammatory rhetoric and given this is an democratically elected government. what solution would make these “fighters” happy? Working with our legal system what solution can they offer. I am really curious. Full disclosure I have voted conservative since my first ballot in 1978. Just wondering

Each person has individual concerns on a variety of matters.


Respectfully, we just went through 1-2yrs of unsuccessful economic lockdowns and Liberal-coerced medical experiments in the form of mandatory mRNA covid shots.


Have you met anyone who was forced from their careers, their education, their families, their homes during the Pandemic?

Can you name any countries where Doctors and Nurses were suspended, even fired, for speaking publicly about risks of accepting mRNA shots?

Have you met anyone injured from experimental Covid shots?

The list goes on, this is just the beginning.

Without some skill in objectivity, "truthful reporting" can be an oxymoron in today's world. The actual "Truckers' Convoy" pretty much ceased to exist when the border restrictions that were at the center of their protest were lifted and most of the truckers went home without ever reaching Ottawa. What remained was without cohesive purpose apart from general discontent. I take issue with the claim that this was just "regular Canadians", as the occupation wore on public disapproval, the majority of regular Canadians, quickly grew to the point were the Emergencies Act was welcomed by all except for a fringe minority.

What freedoms have we lost ...

The freedom to respect humans is gone forever. It would be good to have that back. And the freedom to trust
the government has been flushed down the corrupt Trudeau-Alghabra drain.

I have all the freedoms I have always had

for now. I'm getting a bumper sticker made that says "NEVER FORGET " because I know that tyrants will
never stop being tyrants. The next time these slobs take away our freedom will be worse than the last.
