Liberal's Climate $cience = FAILURE

Post by raft-cove »

Many Canadians still stuck in their mental COVID lockdowns, they have forgotten that other countries exist.

Canada is not a stand-alone Island.

Same goes for Emissions.

If the world has an emissions problem, the logical approach is to find the LARGEST source of emissions and work together to assist in reducing those emissions.

Can Anyone tell me where the REAL emissions problem is located?

Knowing the largest consumption of co2 worldwide is currently burning down.

Loss of forests magnifies the problem, yes.

Getting to the real root of the issue, Global Overpopulation.

We are on pace to reach 10B at the trough within 20yrs.

Problems will only get worse.

You're completely correct, problems will only get worse! That's why North America is trying to greenify its industries and anticipate changes in the global market. Eventually oil production will cease, because of better options, it becoming to expensive to produce, or because the planet eventually runs out!

Not to sure what global population has anything to do with reducing our reliance on oil, but to each their own!

Well, there we have it. Took a few hours for common sense to prevail. If the Far East doesn't cooperate, then Canada is only hurting itself.

Yes, yes, yes. That is exactly what most of these threads are about.

We’ve been cutting our own throats (thanks to Putz& Co) and freely bleeding our financial resources into a bottomless pit and getting nowhere.

As long as India and China remain the biggest polluters on the planet, our efforts and carbon taxes do nothing but hamstring ourselves while contributing a fraction of pollution compared to them.

It’s as if we’re trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon, and each teaspoon-full costs US,Canadians, a billion bucks. It’s a fool’s game and we are being played as well as bankrupted
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Agreed. We're a whole a$$ planet. While politicians and celebrities may bastardize the message the actual scientists know what they're talking about. They're the only people I listen to.

It's encouraging, in a twisted sort of way, that the man-made climate change deniers have shifted away from outright denial to pointing at countries that are worse offenders than Canada.

As more and of forests worldwide either burn down or are removed, logically the world’s co2 levels will rise. Since the biggest consumer of co2 is the forests (mature trees) of this planet. Oxygen that every creature depends on is forests byproduct.

More people need to get back to basic common sense, I learned this in elementary & high school. Along with our planet been coming from or going to ice ages.

Bottom line this planet climate been changing for billions of years (since day 1), along with land masses.

So no I am not denying, just questioning how much is this natural cycle of this planet and how much isn’t.

Ugh. This gets tedious. Obviously the climate always changes. Our human activities are accelerating it. That's the issue. It's happening faster than we can adapt to.

Are we accelerating it or is the planet itself accelerating it.
This is were scientists probably flip a coin until it comes up with what there bosses want to hear.

Let’s just agree to disagree, leave it at that.
