The issue isn't whether there have been harsher environments in the past, the issue is how we will manage the immigration nightmare once the presently warming earth makes it unbearable to live in the lower latitudes considering 40% of the world's population lives between the tropics.

Further exacerbating the problem is the prospect of sea levels rising up to 30m, considering 1 billion people live within 10m of sea level now.

How much will a complete halt to all of Canada's CO2 emissions affect global temperatures? That includes all vehicles, all industry, all natural resource extraction (coal, O&G, etc), and cow farts.

Because these fools know that the total effect is zero, but that doesn't matter. What matters is their warm tummies, our ability (Canada) to say to the UN - "we are doing our share!!" while we continue to divert funding away from our commitments to NATO and look like giant fools while doing so. Funds should not be wasted on "fighting" fairy tales from our tax dollars. There is no benefit to anyone, only harm being done to Canadian citizens, daily, via inflation caused by these foolish carbon taxes and our debt continuing to be ramped up by idiotic spending on this total myth. It's a crime against humanity.

The acceleration of atmospheric carbon dioxide content since the beginning of the industrial revolution is verifiable fact, and it is no coincidence that it has climbed with increased burning of fossil fuels.

The acceleration of atmospheric carbon dioxide content since the beginning of the industrial revolution is verifiable fact, and it is no coincidence that it has climbed with increased burning of fossil fuels.

The “progress” is now centred around extracting our tax dollars.
