The nerve of the Competition Bureau

Post by bob vernon »

Imagine. The nerve of the Competition Bureau trying to keep the internet competitive instead of allowing it to become a monopoly. And just for the insult of doing that, Rogers and Shaw get a few million. Capitalism evolving to it's end.

I think Canada should open its borders to 4 more Mobility providers.

AT&T
Verizon
T-Mobile
Telcel

Just to help Roger’s, Bell and Telus be more competitive.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests. I am an old cantankerousness grump that happens to be very opinionated.

Unfortunately, it's no longer capitalism when you have a monopoly, or near monopoly. The spirit of capitalism is to have a large number of sellers, and a large number of buyers. Capitalism is good, corporatism is just plain greed. There is absolutely no controls over rates, and Rogers can now be free to charge whatever they want, as long as the sheeple take it. We already pay the highest rates in the world for internet and cell phone use. Canada should open up to foreign competition, such as Vodafone.
Re-electing Trudeau means higher costs of living, spiralling inflation, and soaring interest rates.

Trudeau subsidizing the media support system who he needs for the reset, so the state is in full control of society by way of virtual mobility, while locking up the masses in their cubicles feeding them, thers, hers or whatever with constant fear & propaganda.
