If I would have grabbed the PA and said what I think doubtful he would support my " free speech"
bad move in my non Con opinion
who wins?
those who say nothing and watches the chips fall
Maybe the air ( h) dye affecting him :) I so know GF coming for me
lol. Pierre Poilievre should be apologizing to me and all the other non delegates from the flight who were forced to hear conservative prevarication
Was it all the cheering for Pierre that hurt your feelings or just the thought that when Trudeau speaks, no one cares?

Got 2 flights booked with Westjet upcoming. Wouldn’t take AirCanada on a bet or a threat.

Can I request the intercom speaker be Pierre P for my buckle-in procedure? I like applauding and thumbs up prior to takeoff!

If Trudeau speech is the yap of the day, I’ll walk instead. 8 Long Years of hearing his nonsensical, lisping blather. 45 seconds of Pierre Poilievre ok by me.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

But, the Trudeau - he speaks so moistly.

Ain't FREE if you paid for a ticket
Do you realize that the Westjet crew asked him to speak? And that Westjet management had okayed it?

Quite being so deliberately obtuse.
Speaking in Vancouver on Thursday, Poilievre said the cabin crew asked him to speak multiple times on that flight, and the union should be the one apologizing.

"I think that the union should apologize for trying to silence freedom of speech. The crew invited me to give a speech and they did that multiple times," Poilievre said.

"And I think it's because people who work on airplanes, people who work in restaurants, people who work building things love my message."

snip

WestJet's CEO said Wednesday that the flight was specifically added to the schedule because of extra demand related to the convention and that most of the passengers were Conservative delegates.

Still, he also said they'd revisit the policy.

"The leader of the party was given the opportunity to greet delegates onboard (which is not unusual), but this was not a political endorsement nor should it be interpreted as such," Alexis von Hoensbroech wrote in his own statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The irony is, with the bloated, fat cat brass at CUPE complaining, more and more Common Sense Canadians who are tired of the excessive wage demands by unions will gravitate to Mr Poilievre.

The union brass are just too stupid to figure that out. Good.

Should anyone be surprised though that one of the top scumbags at CUPE in Alberta is Notley's husband??? This is all politics, being played by truly awful people.
Emperor Carney now has the official endorsement of Donald Trump, twice. Let that sink in.

Canada is completely broken right now.

At least he flew a commercial flight. Of course, he fully saw what happened to his counterpart and the India debacle.

I don't know to whom you refer, but I don't care if a person is unionized or not. Worked just about all of my career alongside unionized people. My best friend was a unionized worker for 35 years.

I dislike greatly the fat pigs at the top of unions who suck money from members for partisan purposes instead of using it to help workers who need support or training or have issues with an employer. The thugs in the union office are so busy playing politics that most often run contrary to their members' best interests that they leave workers high and dry.

The CUPE brass are playing politics and trying to distort the situation. The unionized WORKERS themselves ASKED Mr Poilievre to address the passengers SEVERAL TIMES. That is fact.

Ask yourself why the union brass are trying to deprive the members of lower income taxes, zero carbon tax, lower inflation, lower housing costs, and lower mortgage rates.

What's in it for the fat cats at the top? Who's greasing their palms?

The fat cat at the top was better than the toxic employer had at one place.. we ended up joining CUPE. In a way politics like unions - people join a party
Except me, I am not a joiner of anything, explains my limited Social life but STILL better than say Yoga classes :)
