Re: Conservative convention soon.
anti-trans bigotry seems to be the main focus of this convention. Voting to not allow gender-affirming care for those under 18 and voting for women's shejtets that bar trans people is just despicable

What some call bigotry and immediately try to malign with disinformation - many others see as plain old common sense, and none too soon.

So that article from ctv, you do realize what it is? Before you start using it, spreading it for its obvious intention and design, lets all accept it for what it is, Political propaganda. Its design, clearly written to support liberal propaganda tactic's. Please contribute from reliable, honest news sources that are not under the influence of one political party. At least maybe articles that cant so easily be acknowledged for what its obvious attempt is.Spiff wrote: ↑Sep 10th, 2023, 4:29 pmOh my goodness! Okay. No problem. Here's an article from a 'reliable, honest news source that's not under the influence of one political party.' And nicely balanced with pros and cons from party members. So it seems Conservatives don't always agree with one another, which I rarely see reflected elsewhere when no one dares to break in to their eco chamber.
Oh sorry, I should have added this, which I posted earlier, as a similar example to the Rebel article.Conservative members vote to ban 'gender-affirming care' for minors
On Saturday, 69% of delegates supported Resolution C-7 — in a nonbinding vote — to ban irreversible gender transitions for children and teenagers.

Re: Conservative convention soon.
Go activists! Also, a question for the one following this with vigor.
Was the vote to prohibit life-saving gender-affirming care for anyone under 18 or was it to ban irreversible gender transitions for children and teenagers?
I realize that to an activist, and those that adore them, this probably means the same thing but try to answer for those not inside the clown car please.

Re: Conservative convention soon.
A realization that with in political parties, voting takes place to ensure a system of democracy stays strong, and its news? This convention, even with the measures of canada's pathetic leftism news sources trying desperately to alter its core policy discussions, has somehow managed to add even more support in the polls for this more neutral political party.Spiff wrote: ↑Sep 11th, 2023, 5:49 amliisgo wrote: ↑Sep 10th, 2023, 5:25 pm

And Conservative Liam O’Brian opposed the resolution from the floor because he thought I would cause harm to the party's chances in the next election, and then suggested it was a matter for the provinces to manage.
So he too, perceived it might be taken as a hostile resolution as Wilber did in his retweet of TansParent Ok.
Also, Dr. Lisa Boning opposed the resolution because she thinks age alone does not determine consent and the policy stands against the values of the party towards freedom and bodily autonomy therefor a vote against that it is pure hypocrisy.
Hilarious, eh?

Yes, hilarious that you project your opinions on others and your opinions are obvious but quite lame that you won't stand behind them. Off to do life stuff now. Please stand by and wait on baited breath (don’t hold it) to see if I can be bothered with this nonsense any longer. Go hypocrisy!Spiff wrote: ↑Sep 11th, 2023, 12:02 pmWell my opinion is you think he got it right since, to me, you might be a conservatives and you support activists.
