Tell us again what the liberals have accomplished on climate change. Tell us again what the liberals have accomplished on housing affordability. Tell us again what the liberals have accomplished in EIGHT YEARS TO HELP CANADIANS ?
The conservatives can help Canadians that are crushed under all the pie in the sky fantasies that liberals have forced onto Canada .
LETS BRING IT HOME !

These are legitimate issues that matter to voters. Ignoring them will only keep the conservatives out of power for longer. This election will be a referendum on housing costs as priority #1. They would do themselves well to address that.
Yes, all parties would. As for the man-made climate change myth, it appears that we can't have our cake and eat it too. We can't ease inflation and have funds available for housing if we continue to also fund these stupid fairy tales to appeal to a very stupid and gullible segment of our society that want to see "action on the man-made climate change hoax". Charging carbon taxes and raising them significantly doesn't cause less wildfires, it just causes more poverty.

I know that there is a segment on the far Left that is far too stupid to understand this. These people always want their cake and to eat it too. That's why they are never going to gain power. They can't do basic math.

Who cares what far Left :swear: hats want to see, especially when it comes to the "man made climate change" myth. What I'd like to see, and am still looking, is what good paying giant carbon taxes is doing to "fighting" the man-made climate change myth. We always hear about how we are supposed to pay more, do more, to fight this mythical "problem", but we're never told just what our efforts are doing, and what we are getting for our investment. Zip. Zero.

Just more ivory tower nonsense. "I want to see what others are doing about the man-made climate change" myth" they whine and cry and stamp their feet, but then they don't give us any sort of accounting. What happens if Canada spends $1 trillion "fighting" this myth? Will that stop all the wild fires? If not, why not? What is the number? They can never tell us. All these fools can do is point and say "it's not enough". Such utter horrible people.
These are legitimate issues that matter to voters. Ignoring them will only keep the conservatives out of power for longer. This election will be a referendum on housing costs as priority #1. They would do themselves well to address that.
For a government to seriously address housing they need to start with immigration.
Slow it down. Bring in those with skills that are in urgent need in Canada. Allow them to bring in their immediate family only.
Last year immigration hit 437,180, plus an estimated 607,782 non-permanent immigrants. And that's what the government knows of.
They all needed a place to live.

And foreign students, cut those numbers back. 900,000 came in to Canada this year. They all needed a place to live, and not all of them found a home.

Get immigration under control and demand on housing will slowly decrease.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

well International students pay more than 5 times what domestic students do - Uni and College meal tickets.
Some of the current housing issue is interest rates remaining fairly low and then for some it is their own behaviour/wants instead of needs
But the thread avout the Convention - did any of you get merch?

SNIP
he said they'd revisit the policy.

"The leader of the party was given the opportunity to greet delegates onboard (which is not unusual), but this was not a political endorsement nor should it be interpreted as such," von Hoensbroech wrote in his own statement on X.

"We are non-partisan by nature and will revisit our policy on this."
