Not at all if they don't retire in BC.

So much that I'm going to move to Alberta right now so I can bring my pension when I retire in BC.

Inspired by this plan and survey.

And this article.

"HILL: Provincial pension plan could have big benefits for Albertans — and big costs for rest of Canada"

Canada Pension Plan will run out of money long before the entire baby boomers generation have kicked the bucket.

So if Canadians haven't been investing into alternatives then they will be :cuss: out of luck come retirement time.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests. I am an old cantankerousness grump that happens to be very opinionated.

So choose option 5 and you'll be good.

Not really interested in Alberta weather. I’m definitely not trusting my retirement needs to any government.

But I'm sure they would love to have your mandatory contibution at least until you retire in BC. It seems to me lots of Albertains are able to suck it up temporarily for their 'environment'.

Glad you are taking an interest in Alberta's Financial Sovereignty and Independence.

Why are you so upset if a province wishes to self-steward its own capital?

Could it be that you have a personal bias towards said province?

Sounds more like jealousy.

I'm not a fan of Quebec; yet I don't care what they do with their ill-gotten Federal Welfare aka "Equalization" payments.
