Standing Ovation in Parliament - for a former Nazi
Hey wait. Standing ovations for a little underwear guitar playing funny guy, who will take the arms and legs off 50,000 men, will take $250 billion away from hard working taxpayers - that's enough money to build a new house for every second person in BC, and as the little guy sent 200,000 Ukrainians straight to the slaughter, the meat grinder = standing ovations for the massacre of Ukrainians = GOOD.
But some 98 year old Ukie who fought the Russian government who actually did a genocide of six million Ukrainians,
standing ovations for him = BAD?
..

Patron, because as a proud Liberal he will take the bullet
About now it is like that meme " so sad, but anyway"
We look like the jerks of the World stage.
Betting Hunka was vetted with a Dinner on our tax dollars... as the MPs fawned over him
So disgusted

Apologist nonsense. This falls on the Liberals, not just one guy. It's so pathetic the way the Liberals do thing - protect "dear Leader" at all costs. Disgusting.erinmore3775 wrote: ↑Sep 25th, 2023, 2:41 pm
Rota was elected to the Speaker position by all members of Parliament. He did not do his job. He did not vet an invited guest. He embarrassed Parliament and the country. He should o the right thing and resign immediately.

Re: Standing Ovation in Parliament - for a former Nazi
In 2018 the US Congress banned arms sales to Ukraine because the military is 10% to 20% neo-Nazis.
This wasn't a secret.
Only after the year 2020 was the concept of Nazis and Ukraine a so-called cRussian propaganda talking point. The North American Media and governments had to whitewash Ukraine's Nazi problem and pretend like we weren't supporting actual neo-nazis in Ukraine. Right now we provide billions of arms and support to literal neo-nazis in Ukraine. It's not like this 95-year-old is the single outlier.
It takes 2 minutes of Investigation to look at combat footage from the front lines of Ukraine to see many Ukrainian soldiers wearing Nazi patches and Insignia and flying Nazi Flags. I just saw something on another website where a bunch of Ukrainian military were reenacting award ceremonies from the Nazi SS groups that were in Ukraine..
It's not Russian propaganda.
Ukraine is f I'll of Nazis, and we support them.
We used to support Saddam Hussein to fight Iran and we used to support Osama bin Laden to fight Russia and now we're supporting Nazis to fight Russia.
We'd all be speaking German right now how did not been for Russia in World War II they paid the butcher's Bill and won World War II for the rest of the world. Russia was our friend in WWII even though the American and Canadian government try really hard to make everybody forget that.

Up until 2020 it was no secret that the entire country of Ukraine was filled with neo-nazis. In 2018 the US Congress banned arms sales to Ukraine because the military had so many neo-nazis in the ranks. It is no secret.
For the last couple years we've all been cheering on Ukraine and anybody willing to do a Google search can easily see that Ukraine is full of Nazis but we're all told it's a Russian talking point and it's Russian propaganda. It's been true the whole time and the propaganda is from our own Government...we've been supporting Nazi's this whole time! Jokes on you Canada.
The conservative government has stood with Ukraine and so has the NDP and even the Green Party because everybody gets good internet points when they post a Ukrainian flag on their profile. Might as well be a swastika for those of us who've read a book or two.

Re: Standing Ovation in Parliament - for a former Nazi
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/ed ... skbar&ei=6EDITORIAL: Canada embarrassed on world stage — again
Canada’s reputation has been enormously damaged by Parliament giving a standing ovation to a 98-year-old Canadian of Ukrainian origin who fought for the Nazis in the Second World War.
The images sent out globally of Canadian MPs applauding this man, apparently the result of the profound ignorance of House of Commons Speaker Anthony Rota about basic facts of modern history, are incalculable, despite Rota’s apology.
How can he believe he can or should continue in his job, or that he continues to have the confidence of the House of Commons, with calls coming from within it for his resignation?
Rota embarrassed our ally, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was in Canada to be honoured by Parliament and to thank Canadians for their military, financial and moral support of Ukraine’s courageous defence against Russia’s invasion.
He handed Russia a powerful propaganda tool; it will use those images to promote Russian President Vladimir Putin’s fiction that he invaded Ukraine to “denazify” it.
Rota insulted the memory of six million Jews who died in the Shoah, the Hebrew name for the Holocaust.
He insulted the memory of millions of others murdered by the Nazis — Poles, Soviet POWs, Roma, Serbs, Slovenes, trade unionists, communists, LGBTQ people, the disabled, Jehovah’s Witnesses — and of Canadian vets who served and died in the Second World War.
Rota, a Liberal MP elected by his peers to the job of speaker, says this blunder was his alone, but why do we keep seeing fiascoes of this type in the government presided over by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals?
For example, inviting an attempted murderer of an Indian cabinet minister to an official Canadian reception attended by Trudeau in India in 2018 — now back in the news given the PM’s accusation Canada suspects India of having carried out the targeted assassination of a Canadian citizen on our soil.
Or hiring an anti-Semite as an anti-racism consultant last year.
Can you imagine the frothing at the mouth insanity that the lunatic Left would be engaging in if this had happened while Harper was PM? Of course, total crickets from said hypocrites as usual because it's the Liberals hob-knobbing with Nazis. So sad.

Trudeau was looking to score raucous political points with Mr Hunka's appearance in Parliament.
Was it the PMO's incompetence, or was it Trudeau's dismissive arrogance in thinking he's smarter than the rest of us and we'd never find out about Hunka's Nazi background?
The government had that list of ALL guests well in advance of Friday.

On Friday, a Nazi was given a celebratory welcome and took a seat in the House of Commons.
The guest list was fully vetted by the Prime Minister’s office, so how does he expect us to believe he knew nothing?!

did he do this for points ? or did he do this because he hired incompetent people in his Office and he himself didn't fact check the old Nazi goat ? in both cases it means we have an incompetent Political Party running our Country - Christ, we're all lucky Trudeau didn't throw a medal on this Nazi killer for a photo op-Gone_Fishin wrote: ↑Sep 25th, 2023, 4:19 pm Trudeau was looking to score raucous political points with Mr Hunka's appearance in Parliament.

Chinese interference forgotten when parliament returned simply by creating another bigger international diplomatic issue.
Cover that one, with a Nazi.
It's what's been done since day one by this government.
