We looked at suspected mass murderer Bobby Crimo's social media accounts, and while we found pictures and videos linking him to Donald Trump, we found no verified accounts or information linking him to left-wing causes.

You guys care way more than most Americans do about this. Most of them either didn't care or have moved on already. Other than it being a holiday, yesterday wasn't really much different in the US than any other day. Mass shootings are ingrained in their culture... it's just what it means to be American.

If Americans really cared about mass shootings they would have done something about it already.

Mass shooting in Chicago, another one narrowly averted in Virginia.
Nothing being done because gun lovers have rights even if they are mentally unstable.
Americans love their guns more than they love their fellow americans.
Normal, good, kind people just get massacred by kooks. Why don't americans stop this? It's like the whole country is nuts.

A big contribution to the escalated violence is the media. CNN currently has the parade shooting plastered on their page with the headline I'm currently reading that the shooter was planning a second attack. It looks like advertising. The shooter's profile has been highly escalated which encourages other vulnerable people, for whatever reason, to do "better" and get more coverage and a higher kill count. It's tragedy porn and it needs to stop.

If the true carnage is not portrayed of these mass shootings, is seems nothing less will penetrate the consciences of those who insist that guns, and flimsy gun laws, are not the problem. Just reporting that 19 were killed in the recent school shooting, had no effect whatsoever in the gun violence, or the lawmakers response to it. You would think by now, given the weekly shooting tragedies in the u.s. that enough lawmakers would have said "Enough" and done something. But so far, it hasn't been working. So bring out more video coverage, bring out more victims, full grown men tellling americans how it is to lay in a room with a killer, full of children dying from gun shot wounds, while a few dozen police officers stay in the safety of the hallway, just feet away.
It's not enough to show innocent families with their children running for cover gunned down by some kook has their precious AR15, which is their right.
I don't know what it's going to take, but they aren't there yet, so if showing the carnage on TV *bleep* someone's conscience, I say goforit.

And just to top it off, in the school shooting, a police officer had the gunman in his sights BEFORE he entered the school, and did not take the shot. Police officers now are scared to do their job, scared to save little children and their teachers, because they might be up on charges for something later.
After all, if a gunman has every right to carry a fire arm, NO ONE CAN STOP HIM from exercising his rights!
