This is a bad dude. He got out early from prison with a ridiculously low bond. The Milwaukee Co. District Attorney says Waukesha suspect Darrell Brooks should not have been released on such a low cash bond earlier this month. They are conducting an internal review.

He was not chased by police and this was not a terrorist attack. He is being charged with 5 counts of homicide. The people he killed were all older adults (52 to 81), but many people of all ages were seriously injured. I'm listening to the live press conference right now.

It sounds like he was getting away from a domestic dispute. Probably angry and just didn't care if he ran people over or not. He should never have been out of jail. He had been charged with 16 crimes since 1999.
