Ironic calling Trump a liar at this point. The main stream press hasn't got a leg to stand on anymore.

The epic, historic media failure that defined the 2016 election continues to this day.

Nothing has changed. If anything, it's only gotten worse

There is more than enough to legitimately criticize Trump for. His despicable Yemen policy, ridiculous corporate tax giveaways -the list goes on. That this nonstop, frequently-disproven Russia panic has become the central criticism of his presidency is both an irony and a tragedy.

Not accurate at all. No verification that it was "all" true, partly true. No evidence that it was "all BS". Except the claims from Trump (well established liar in many many many instances), his lawyer Guilliani( also lied many times), and Trumps' team (also many false claims and statements). Now occasionally the reporters get it wrong, but that has not been established yet. Until Cohen re-testifies for congress, and the Meuller report finally comes out, we will not know how accurate this report is or is not.

Mueller said the story was not true.

Meuller said the story was not "accurate". That is not the same as saying this story is entirely false. Which means there could be parts of it which are accurate. Until his report comes out, and all the testimonies of all the actors come out, we will not know to what degree this story is accurate.

Isn't it telling, that Trump has been saying for months what a bunch of liars Meuller and his investigators are, and now , all of a sudden, He thinks Meuller is a great guy and supporting his innocence? lol.

Trump derangement syndrome in full effect.

I guess all those "journalists" that filed their "THIS IS THE BIG ONE" stories for Sunday's paper are screwed.

SCO has to say it's inaccurate to maintain a leak free stance. Speculate is all anyone can do at this point. What has happened will eventually be brought to light. This is inevitable, imho.

Trump's approval rating may never get out of the cellar

… What is notable is how many people have already made up their minds on Trump being unsuccessful. The 47% who said that are basically saying not just that they don't like the President now, but also that there's a very good chance they'll never like him. It gives Trump very little wiggle room in trying to bring up his low approval rating before his re-election. …

Trump is easily going to be remembered as the biggest political mistake the Americans ever made. It would take a very special kind of stubborn stupidness to still be making excuses for or supporting this imbecile. An select club to be sure. It’s like a cult.

What is even more telling is his base just goes with the flow convinced he is the only source of truth. Cult-like.

This was my exact thought as I watched CNN try to defend Buzzfeed yesterday.

Speaking of cult-like, how bad does the cult-like alt-left look like today?

Buzzfeed reporter does not claim he was speculating at all, claims that good sources had information about emails etc. So until all of the actual sources come to light, the rest of everyone is speculating because of course we are not seeing that information yet. Time will tell exactly whether ordinary mortals will get to see this information. Obviously Meuller is not going to share it until he is good and ready. He has already asked for another 6 months, so not much going to be exposed before he wraps up, unless it is by accident or thru leaks. Or if Cohen has permission to leak some juicier emails like he did the tapes.

Sure they are, otherwise they would never have a story to chase or discuss.
AS long as they indicate, which is speculation, and which is information that has some verification from a reliable source, nothing wrong with speculation.

CNN is pathetic. Rex Murphy's quip about Don Lemon could easily apply to most of the personalities on CNN, "Personally, I think Mr. Lemon would out of his depth judging a pie contest in a one-baker town fair." :smt045

Wishful thinking?

People used to call it "Dreaming in Technicolor." Even silly Trump H8r Jonathan Karl sadly admits that the report is “almost certain to be anti-climactic.”

Of course, he means that it won't yield what the H8rs are hoping for. It will, however, likely provide more evidence of malfeasance on the part of pro-Democrat FBI agents and other bad actors.
