So he threw is lot in with the NATO alliance and Putin became impatient and less understanding of his newness to politics and NOW look what we have.

What propaganda? A large demographic of the Ukraine is Russian. The video isn't shocking or out side the realm of believability.

After watching the video: I confess fully I had no idea how many ethnic minorities lived in Ukraine. None. Now I do. And Canadians have NO business getting upset about language laws considering we allow one Province behave rather fascist over the language English in their Province. For the slow that would be Quebec. The Language Police forced a bar to remove a sign with "beer" in it. I mean come on.

Ukraine tried to bring in a language law to unite the country by language and drew considerable international criticism within Europe. Including Russia.

Not sure how that "flushes the country down the drain" when it smacks of honest nation building. What does Canada tell minorities in Canada? If you want your language use it.

The authorities in Ukraine have been progressively tightening the screws on the use of Russian in the country since 2014. Kiev has adopted laws making the use of Ukrainian obligatory in almost all spheres of public life, including in government, medicine, science, education, and the media. Failure to comply can result in fines.

Ukraine historically has a large Russian-speaking population, particularly in its eastern regions. As of 2022, about 23% of people in Ukraine spoke Russian at home, according to local sociologists.
