Ill start by saying that both democrats and republicans are an embarrassment to American politics and the parties need a serious revamp.

That being said it should be made clear the differences between democrats and republicans.

in 2008 and 2012 Democrats elected a man who is a Harvard graduate, who married another Harvard graduate, who have 2 kids one of which is lining up to be another Harvard graduate.

in 2016 Republicans elected a man who has 5 kids with 3 women in which he has cheated on all 3, his current wife he cheated on with porn star Stormy Daniels. Trump has 2 sons, one that was revealed to be meeting with russian lobbyists and lawyers and is being investigated for criminal conduct and collusion, the other was part of a scheme to funnel money for cancer charities into his and his dads personal finances, that charity foundation was court ordered to be dissolved only months ago.

Trump regret remains at 2%-4%, which means that between 1.3-2.5 million people regret voting for trump. Is is the first time in a long time that members of the presidents own party have stepped up to call down his repugnant acts.

Democrats elected 17 men, 23 women and 13 of those reps are of a different ethnic back ground than white.

Democrats are about real representation and it shows, minorities will continue to cling to the democrats because the democrats are actually electing minority leaders.
