exactly. There were reasons they didn't want the wall, and now there are reasons they do. Why this is some sort of issue to bash Trump over is just more ridiculous nonsense. There are so many legitimate reasons to discuss why Trump is not a good president, but lets talk about unions flip-flopping and Big Macs, that sure makes sense.

Trump declares he'll 'never back down' in shutdown fight

WASHINGTON - With the government mired in shutdown week four, President Donald Trump rejected a short-term legislative fix and dug in for more combat Monday, declaring he would "never ever back down."

The facts as described by statistical evidence show this wall, should it ever be built, will have no impact on violent crime (undocumented immigrants accounting for 0.04% of crime), little to no impact on the amount of drugs being smuggled into the country (heroin and cocaine coming through the ports, and methamphetamine being produced in the basement and garages of redneck hillbilly Trump supporters), and no impact on terrorism (there has yet to be a terrorist attack in United States by someone who entered the country via Mexico). But you just know all those people losing their homes, unable to buy groceries or even get food stamps are behind their president 100%. H’yup. "Drain that swamp!"
The ability to suspend judgment and change your mind when warranted is a distinguishing feature of critical thought
– apparently not recognizable to those who don’t have the ability.
