and you can't even blame "male pigs" for this verdict, as it was three women that came to this conclusion to exonerate based on the looks of the victim.

I'm thinking there's more to the judge's decision than:
There's got to be more about the witness not being credible - I just can't fathom it all came down to the suspects' view of her appearance which is irrelevant.
the Italian appeals court overturned the verdict and absolved them, finding that she was not a credible witness in part because the suspects had found her unattractive and "masculine."
