I've been seeing it more recently referred to as "CHOP" ... Capital Hill Occupied Protest

Saw the news about the shooting and I'm definitely curious as to what will come out about it ...

In a way I'm seeing this as a mini "Escape From New York" type of environment but I don't think that really represents what the origins of this area ... this is people who are so tired of the status quo that they are going to extremes, knowing the frustrations I've had with local and provincial governments I can understand even if I'm not sure if I'd be ready to go there ... but I'm definitely not the category of person most affected by these issues
