CHICAGO (WJW) — 60 people were shot, 9 fatally, across Chicago over Father’s Day weekend, WLS reports.

A teenage girl, two teenage boys and a three-year-old boy are among the deceased. The other homicide victims were adult men.

Eleven people have been shot and one person has been killed in an overnight shooting in Minneapolis.

The incident began on Sunday morning at 12:37 a.m. when multiple calls were made to emergency services regarding numerous people being shot on the 2900 block of Hennepin Avenue South.

The shooting was done by more than one person, according to the Minneapolis Police Department, and the suspects reportedly approached the crime scene on foot when they began to open fire.

Two people were killed and at least 12 hurt early Monday after a multi-day Juneteenth street party erupted in lots of gunfire in northwest Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Five of the 12 injured people were struck by cars as they began scrambling across streets away from the chaotic scene, police said. Three of the people who were injured are fighting for their life, police said.

At a news conference Monday, investigators said that as many as 400 people were attending the celebration at the time, and at least 100 rounds were fired into the crowd. No CMPD officers fired their weapons, officials said.

As the deaths at the hands of criminals since the protesting of BLM started we are approaching closer to 1000 deaths in these cities and every one is related to the movement and the rioting and looting etc it has brought. These are innocent people, members of society that had the right to life. a lot of them children.
And not one of us know there names, not one media story at a personnel note. not a high profile funeral. Gold coffin. $20 mil go fund me for the ex.
Life of crime, resist arrest, high on drugs, dangerous to the public and your self, and your all the people want to talk and protest about.
This has become more than sick and embarrassing for our countries. Its a disgrace. Nothing can be done to stop this because most people care more for old George than for innocent children being killed daily while out playing.
Good work to all the victimhood avengerists and snowflakes out there. Your enrollment into a mass, hypocritical victimhood campaign has been responsible for these killings.

NEW YORK -- Five people were shot Tuesday morning at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, law enforcement sources said.

Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people shot and undetonated devices, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson said.

According to multiple law enforcement sources briefed on the investigation, preliminary information indicated a suspect was wearing a construction vest and a gas mask.


A photo from the scene showed people tending to bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station.

Further details were not immediately available.

Trains servicing that station were delayed during the morning rush hour.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams' office did not immediately have more details. Adams was at the mayor's residence Tuesday morning.
