Re: Joe Biden
It would be easier to believe this BS if these platforms would afford Trump the same courtesy. Look at the half wits still pushing this nonsense about Trump "owing" $400 million. Where were those "bastions of truth" the social media platforms when this evil and disgusting lie was being circulated by scum? Let's get a level playing field here. For once!!seewood wrote:
Easy, as mentioned in a post earlier, Face book and Twitter have now stopped posting fake news.

Re: Joe Biden
I see from seewood's post that social media is what I think is being written about here.rustled wrote: The key point is that the Bidens and the Biden campaign and the appropriate federal agencies have done nothing to stop them.
No "cease and desist", no nothing.
See the problem?
I'm not sure why Biden or the Biden campaign would stop the propagation of fake news as per their recent policy. Why would they do that in the first place? That would be suspicious on their part if they did.
Feds have got nothing to do with Facebook or Twitters public policies. Why would they get involved, that's just wishful thinking. Bannon's and Giuliani's fake drives violated different policies for the respective companies so that certainly seems legit.
And looking at seewood's post, I'm not sure what you mean about blocking "unverified" stories a out Biden's opponent? How about an example for your claim?

I'm not sure how many times we got it say it. Trump admitted on national TV he's got this debt.......end of story. The Green Barbarian wrote:It would be easier to believe this BS if these platforms would afford Trump the same courtesy. Re: Joe Biden
Heck of a coincidence that they've both decided to start cracking down on this NOW, with THIS PARTICULAR story, after letting everyone post and re-post whatever they liked for so long.seewood wrote:Easy, as mentioned in a post earlier, Face book and Twitter have now stopped posting fake news. A good thing this close to an election. They should have been doing it years ago.rustled wrote:Other questions to consider: Why - whether the story is true or not - did social media block this particular story in a way they have never blocked "unverified" stories about Biden's opponent?
If the tweet or face book post turns out to be true, they'll post it.
If Biden's camp were to say and post the US is turning the corner and the virus is on the outs, they would be blocked as well.
And no, I'm guessing the idea of posting it and let the viewers decide if it is true or not is not in their mandate any more.
Couple that with Biden not being out campaigning, and his campaign not denying that's Hunter Biden's laptop... hmmmm.

You aren’t allowed to quote the senile ol’ foggy that makes no sense. Only allowed to spin it into positives... negatives quotes are to be reserved for Truml only and taken completely out of context. The Green Barbarian wrote:What in the meme I posted is a "cheap insult" exactly?fluffy wrote:A thread for actual discussion ? Re: Joe Biden
Theyve been cracking down for a while now not just for this particular story. That's why Atlas' fake news about masks got blocked today on facebook because.....you know....it was fake. Facebook's policy on fake news is newer than twitter's policy on revealing private information which has been around since twitter started. That's why Giuliani fake drive story got blocked on twitter cause some of the emails showed private information like email addresses and things of that nature.rustled wrote: Heck of a coincidence that they've both decided to start cracking down on this NOW, with THIS PARTICULAR story, after letting everyone post and re-post whatever they liked for so long.

Joe doesn't have to do anything. He just watches Trump blow his foot off once a day and gains by the result of Trump's own self inflicted wounds. I wonder if he's still infected with Covid 19?Thebrewhouse wrote:

Re: Joe Biden
More from the New York Post on the Bidens and their criminal activity. Interesting factoid that I learned from watching Trump's rally today - American founding father Alexander Hamilton started the New York Post. Democrat-loving Lin Manuel Miranda must hate that.
https://nypost-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v ... goodwin%2FNow that some secrets of the Biden family business are no longer secrets, it’s easy to imagine Joe Biden asking the same question Robert Redford asked in the 1972 film “The Candidate.” After winning a Senate race he didn’t expect to win, Redford turns to his handler and wonders: “What do we do now?”
That’s the end of the movie, but the story about the Bidens is just beginning. What Joe Biden must do now is start telling the truth. The whole truth.
Up to now, the Democrats’ presidential nominee has gotten away with the fiction that he never talked to his son Hunter about Hunter’s suspect business dealings in Ukraine, China and elsewhere. The repeated claim was never credible, especially when it was revealed that Hunter flew on Air Force Two with his father to Beijing and came home with a $1.5 billion commitment from a Chinese bank for a new investment firm.

Re: Joe Biden
Are we suppose to topple over now? What we know today is that it's a conservative gossip rag owned by Rupert Murdock to act as a propaganda machine for the Republican arm. That's why Bannon and Giuliani went there to start the bogus story on Hunter Biden. Giuliani failed to get any dirt on the Bidens legitimately for 4 years so they had to make something up 18 days before the election. It's an obvious desparate move by Team Trump to duplicate the Wikileaks like BS from 4 years ago. The only ones falling for this are the distressed Trump supporters who are seeing their glorious leader sink in the polls. I haven' seen TMZ....uh...er......Faux News but I'm sure they are hyping it like they were with hydroxychloroquine, non stop and over the top. Just like the drug, nothing will come of this too.The Green Barbarian wrote:More from the New York Post on the Bidens and their criminal activity. Sure. Or demand the truth. But as Joe is a Democrat we know his own base will just be content continuing to be lied to.foenix wrote:[

LOL - did everyone get that? Either continually pump out pro-Democrat positive platitudes and anti-Trump babble, or risk being labeled a "Conservative gossip rag".What we know today is that it's a conservative gossip rag .
Who cares about the truth. What does that matter right? Talk about double-standards, this is the very definition!
Joe just fess up. Stop hiding in your basement like a coward.

Re: Joe Biden
This is nonsense. Of course the New York Post, just like other fake news entertainers like Tucker Carlson are conservative gossip rags, and to suggest otherwise is beyond bizarre. That the idiot Right would go to this length to lie about some random laptop store and how a hacked laptop hard drive just happened to be sent to Rudy Guliani (lol) is just disgusting. It's just morally wrong, and shows the lengths they Right will go to lie and spin to sell a narrative. It's just so gross. The Green Barbarian wrote:Either continually pump out pro-Democrat positive platitudes and anti-Trump babble, or risk being labeled a "Conservative gossip rag".
It's that special time of year when conservatives stupidly act like they're not allowed to say Merry Christmas.

It seems to me it would not only be morally wrong to go to those lengths to lie and spin to sell a narrative, it would not only be gross, it would also be illegal.Pappywinkle wrote:This is nonsense. And yet we've seen no denials from the Bidens, and no legal action from the Bidens. Perhaps they're giving their opponents enough rope to hang themselves. Or, perhaps....
