Even Martha Stewart went to jail once.
Spend some time and money on establishing an Estate plan, a Legal Will, your wishes and who is the Executor. Watch Grant of Probate videos. Understand the process to help yourself and loved ones.

and in that case she was actually guilty!
There's no such thing as gay rights, minority rights, trans rights or women's rights.

There are only individual rights. Either we all have the same rights, or we're just groups of special interests fighting for preferential treatment.

yes rot all the way to the White House, thanks to imbecilic idiots who won't stop giving this guy and his presidential campgain oxygen. Such stupidity. All because brain-dead fools can't just leave this guy alone.

Yes, but only if you're a Republican
No. If you've committed crimes. As QueenK pointed out. Martha Stewart is a felon. Nobody is above the law or we don't have laws.

You mean no one, like Hillary Clinton who destroyed subpoenaed information? Who kept an illegal, unprotected server in her home? Or Joe Biden who is guilty of quid pro quo with Ukraine, as caught on video? Gotcha.

I only ask that every politician be scrutinized to the same level as Trump. Then we'll see whose really above the law.

THis is so political.

Every US President has committed crimes in the last 75 years.

Murder by the millions. Torture. Slaying of hundred of children at a time.

This obscure finaicial clercial porn star payment is the "nobody is above the law" thing?

Step right up hypocrites this is your show.
Then put them ALL in jail, if convicted. No one is above the law.
Meanwhile I hope they are still working away on Trump's Tax evasion charges, because I think those would be taken more seriously by the government, just a more complex case to investigate. This one is open and shut, but he won't get much time, maybe no time if his lawyers are smart and make a plea agreement.
Anyway this thread is about Trump and his current life since the presidency, not "every Us President has committed crimes". Which would be a great topic for another thread, btw.

I would suspect that most if not all Presidents have done either illegal or unethical things.

But it looks like Trump is one of the worst and they need to start somewhere to show them they can't always get way with it.

From what I knew about him even before he was elected he never should have been able to run for office. It just shows how screwed their system (and ours) is.

What is does show is how incredibly stupid Trump really is ... With the amount of criminal baggage Trump has over his life of,, , , ,Lie , Cheat and Steal it really does take a special kind of stupid to think he would get away it when running for Pres.

Qanaon Shaman released from jail 14 months early due to exculpatory evidence of police opening doors for him etc.

Released the same day they indict Trump.

RussiaGate, Jan 6th etc etc.

"Just attack Trump until something sticks".

They're not even pretending. They let the Shaman go.

This is not justice. This is political.

I want to see every US President arrested too but for real, not because Joe Biden is a walking zombie.

Trump's acolytes weren't outraged by the many accusations of sexual assault and rape against their idol. They weren't outraged over the many accusations of grifting and fraud (in fact, they're still sending him money even though they know the money's going into his personal coffers). They weren't even outraged when he conspired to overturn the results of a fair and free election. But now they're outraged that the indictments are starting to come (and they've just started) for his many crimes and wrongdoings. Trump supporters are so stupid they have no idea how stupid they look.
Do not be fooled. A persons most consistent behavior is their true self.

Some how there has been flip in this discussion. He paid off a hooker for having sex with him when he was married. While there is certainly a problem with using money for this then claiming it as a tax/election expense, the bigger problem is supporting someone who cheats on his wife with a hooker. Showing support for trump is to say your word does not mean a thing, you can say anything you want and do the exact opposite. If you support this lack of moral integrity you are part of the problem.

From CNN:

"Former President Donald Trump faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud in an indictment from a Manhattan grand jury, according to two sources familiar with the case. It marks the first time in US history that a current or former president will face criminal charges."

Business fraud. But hey, he's still making history.

My predictions only:

Hostage taking, mass protests, gun shots and riots, in any combination thereof, mainly from misguided Trump supporters who believe he'll pay their court costs.

Predictions are cheap to make though. I get it. I may be wrong and I hope I'm wrong.

Barricades are being made in New York already and there are protests in Florida already. What could go wrong?
