You support the slaughter and rape of women and children. That’s says it all.

I've never once stated that I support this war on either side.

In multiple interviews in Obukhovychi, villagers say they were taken from their homes at gunpoint and held in a school by Russians trying to stop advancing Ukrainian forces. Local people also gave accounts of Russian troops shooting civilians and holding others captive in and around Ivankiv, the neighbouring town.

Many of the houses in the village had the Ukrainian word for "people" painted on their gates - a way of warning soldiers to be careful and not hurt them. But, in the end, the signs were a magnet to Russian troops.

"The [Russians] are fascists, vandals. It was chaos, children and people crying… I don't want to talk about the Russians. They're not human beings," 60-year-old Ivan told us.

Maria Bilohovost, an 89-year-old great grandmother, told us she had survived World War Two and that the Russian invaders were like the Germans. "Except they spoke Russian, so I knew what they were saying."

In areas where Ukrainian forces are in control, evidence is accumulating that Russian troops repeatedly broke the laws of war.

I was referring more to the broader scope, and honestly regarding Bucha, who cares? Why not get ouraged over Tibet, Afghanistan, Iraq, Xinjiang, Syria, Yemen, Tigray etc.

The broader scope? The broader scope of what? Sounds like a deflection to avoid acknowledging the atrocities being committed by Russian troops right now. You know, raping women and young girls, executing civilians, that kind of stuff. War crimes. And why the deflection in trying to suggest people are not outraged over what is happening or has happened in Tibet, Afghanistan, Iraq, Xinjiang, Syria, Yemen, Tigray etc.? This is a thread about about what is happening in the Ukraine.

^^ because she's only seeing it from one point of view.."hers"...and I do have Family that had to leave Ukraine, they should be arriving in Alberta in 3 days..so I don't need any "educating" from anybody

Putin invaded the Ukraine because he considers it a part of Russia and doesn't believe it even has the right to exist as a country. Putin has been quoted as calling the breakup of the old Soviet Union "the greatest geopolitical tragedy of the twentieth century" and has dreamed his entire career of redressing that error. The lies he used as an excuse to invade the Ukraine are just that - lies, and the people he claims to have come to "liberate" are fighting to the death to repel his forces. Only the most gullible and naïve would believe such obvious untruth and blatant propaganda and the excuse-making and defense of such a genocidal butcher and warmongering madman is nothing less than disgusting and perverse.

And why would they becoming to Canada, they were fairly content while Zelensky was leading the country (without Russia's interference). They only seem to be unhappy with Ukraine since the Russians invaded and started bombing civilians, hospitals, laying seige to cities, and shelling people trying to escape.
