12 billion working its way through the pipeline right now and I quite expect more from other countries. Get back to you in a day, maybe two. Nah, just checked, I doubt it's two. Oh, and there's an additional $3.6 billion in Presidential Drawdown Authority. Missed that earlier.

NATO has delivered 200,000 winter kits and more are to be delivered. Meanwhile Russian troops are being told to bring their own sleeping bags and pads. (You still won't look at those twitter links - eh?)

Why are western countries sending so much money to one of the most corrupt countries on the planet? We got a medical system in shambles here and we're sending money to Ukraine!?!

If it was real weapons it would be plastered everywhere. There are basically no stories in the western press other than "chaotic russian mobilization". Putin upped the ante and we empty our pockets and shrug... but great spin on it though.

$4.5 billion to fund Ukrainian government in Q4? Not much bang for the buck there.

Israelis turned them down, ouch. Ukies need tanks, guns, bullets, bombs, air defense, helis, men, cash... none of which is gonna come fast enough

BINGO!! Two of the most corrupt countries on the planet and we should care tht they blow each other up? Why? The only reason the western world is involved is because corrupt politicians are making hand over fist off of it. WHAT ABOUT OUR OWN PEOPLE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY?!

As a reader, not a participant in this thread that I go to looking for news of the war, but find instead cutesy type posts that are totally unhelpful. Almost as if they are intended to obscure what is going on.

Oh well, it’s a war, nothing serious.

From the forgoing posts I cannot tell which side is winning or losing.

One side is getting an additional 15.6 billion in aid and seems to be gaining on the map.

The other side is freaking right out, suggesting the recruiters should be shot, is dragging people onto busses and telling its troops they will need to come up with their own sleeping bags, feminine hygiene pads and tampons.

War is serious and this does suck, but it's not like anyone is going to pay any attention to anything they don't want to hear anyways. You were mod, weren't you? I assume you know how the ignore button works. I've certainly found it handy.

Most the stuff I post is from Russian media anyways. I don't know why anyone would be interested in that.

Things are going great, new recruits are showing up on the line in the Luhansk region. If you look back in this thread, you'll see the trainload of 200+ that almost made it off the train but fear not Russian media is interviewing some of the fresh recruits that have been mobilized. According to the banner, this first one is callsign - Grandpa

It is literally plastered everywhere. Not to be outdone by the Americans and Western Allies, Russia has stepped up in a big way lately, but you won't look at twitter links, so I can't show you how much.

Netherlands announced. Psst, Canada is about to announce... I can feel it coming.

Do you have google? You could check out the list of foreign aid to Russia during the Russo Ukrainian war and do a bit of a comparison. Or, you could save yourself some time and take my word for it. There isn't a list.

So you are not on the side of Britain who threatened to blow Russia to hell six years ago. that's good.

But the dumbest group of people in the country - the politicians - who gave the stinker Zelensky a standing ovation,
because the war industry decided it would be easier to steal $2 billion (67,000 brand new Ford F150s for those who don't know what a billion is) from hard working Canadian taxpayers, if EVERYONE was in agreement.

that's not good. Those idiots in Ottawa - EVERY ONE OF THEM - can't be trusted as we can see how they dropped vax requirements at the border after myocarditis in kids is showing up - baaaaaaaaaaaad. Lawsuits for the fools you say you trust.

Of course, no day would be complete without checking in on the TikToK stars from Chechnya. Here they are fiercely firing on an empty building and taking on some trees. Wait brother, let me stand up in the open and take a selfie while you do that. [icon_lol2.gif]

This war, like all wars is hard on civilians and causing a huge number of refugees fleeing the horrors of war. Here's the latest map showing where those refugees are fleeing to.

Image

It doesn't usually work like that, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯...

Others are going to more extreme measures to avoid conscription. You know you have a real friend when he'll jump off the stairs and break your leg for you. I'm not going to share that video but *cringe* I don't need to be a medical doctor to tell you, beyond any doubt, he's unfit for service at this point.

I guess we can hope Ukraine has printed off 300,000 of these.

Reportedly, this is the first of the mobilized conscripts to successfully follow the instructions on the card. (Hmm, he looks remarkably sober.)

Yes.. one bad apple sure can stir up much grief anguish suffering and horror, all in the n/aim of what (?) I don’t know.
It seems to me that the world’s human population has been heading in this direction for some time now cruzin’ for a bruzin’ so-to-speak, Sad... vary sad. We humans are relatively a young life form on this planet, and with that in mind we may learn over much time.
I find keeping to a long view in regards to the incoming information, helps.
And with the poem IF rolling around inside my head I quietly just carry on.

Drip_Torch- Thanks for all that you contribute on/in these forums, it is much appreciated.

Best Regards

And, thank you Tyrain-Quill. It's the long view that keeps me going. I travelled the Soviet Union and while I likely won't get a Russian Visa anytime soon... I remain very hopeful that Russians will eventually fight for a better life for themselves. When all is said and done.

This map is from Russian source "War Gonzo". Ukrainian accredited media is still very much operating under embargo and there is considerable lag in the clips we see.

Image

This matches up perfectly with a video I saw yesterday by Igor Vsevolodovich Girkin. Another renowned Russian source.

Fresh off the presses... I've honestly never seen this side of Vladimir Solovyov and if you had tried to tell me 6 months ago, he would ever be critical of anything around Russia, or this war, I would have laughed. :200:

so, we know USA spends more money on wars than the entire earth combined.
we know USA started the war in Ukraine
we know Zelensky appointed whoever he wanted to Ukraine's government - they weren't elected.
we know Ukraine is crooked and corrupt.

Putin decided to start USA's war, after begging the West to avoid the war many times.
The West refused to negotiate with Putin - they love war profiteering.

Now
Putin is forcing 300,000 Russians to go to USA's war.
300,000 Russians don't want USA's war
One guy Konstantin - says he refuses to kill Ukrainians. he's a Christian.

Right now, Putin is a tyrant. :smt045
Right now is when - just like with Justin's forced vaxxine - every Russian has a right to tell Putin to go to war himself.
Oh and Justin's kids and Freeload's kids can (should) also go fight for democracy in the killing fields of Ukraine.
