Guess what else... the $100bill we have sent to Ukraine... debt...

Guess what else... Goldman, JP etc are all buying/trading Russian bonds and making bank on it

Wasn't aware the US had been in any full scale mechanized land conflicts since Korea, am I missing something here?
Russia builds spaceships that dont work lol . We build rockets that go to the moon , put ppl on it , then return them ppl . Case closed
Again you guys twist yourselves in knots - Russia is a huge danger to Europe etc ZOMG but also totally incompetent blah blah

Pick one or the other.

Drip_Torch wrote: Nov 25th, 2022, 1:13 pm My point is Russia has lost more Russians in this war than the USA lost in all the conflicts above. I wasn't aware that it was okay to lose more soldiers based on the type of war a country decided to engage in. Maybe, just maybe, Russia shouldn't have engaged in a "full-scale mechanized land conflict".

They don't seem very good at it.
Does anyone really believe in the accuracy of the Ukraine ministry of defense and other western sources? What is the number now for Russian killed 80,000? That's just an absurd lie, probably closer to 10 to 15 thousand killed that includes the LPR/DPR army plus Russian Army and private military companies. Any word on the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed?
Yes, the numbers are quite questionable.

All the sources I see suggest that number, 86,000 is incredibly low and doesn't include the "musicians in the orchestra", (PMC Wagner) "the TikTok brigade", (Kadyrovites), border guards, military police (who just got slaughtered in February) or the wounded and missing (which are likely in a dump, based on the video line ups of single taps to wounded I've seen documented).

The number I see, that seems credible, is closer to 107,000 overall converted to peaceful and out of the fight.

Oh, I see the cat is out of the bag - this is timely. Of course, this is already going on, but Vladimir Solovyov figures they should make it legal on paper, rather than the current practice of just turning a blind eye to it.

.
Untitled-2.jpg
In fact, it goes much deeper at the current moment. Since Yevgeny Nuzhin, Wagner soldiers would rather do themselves than become a POW and run the risk of getting turned back over to "the orchestra". It doesn't end there. They've also published the "zeroing out" of Wagner wounded. Logistically, it makes a lot of sense.

It's all falling apart on today's show. Worth the watch.

It’s a shame Ukraine doesn’t appear to have rockets to shoot at the Kremlin, especially Putin’s residence.

Here's some news fresh off the presses...

In response to "Putin's chef" sending a sledgehammer to the European Parliament, Estonia's foreign minister is sending handcuffs to the Hauge International criminal court for Prigozhin and his accomplices.

Nice move.

PS: For those of you that don't know who the leader of Wagner, Prigozhin is... Here's a picture of him serving a drink to George Bush. Still seems weird to me that a convicted criminal that somehow came out of prison with a venereal disease he didn't have when he went into prison got that close to the George Bush, but it is what it is...

I think I know a good seque when I see one. Next up...

An elite Russian FSB agent, a Russian orthodox minister and an altar boy... but wait, somehow, I'm repeating myself.

Late yesterday Ukrainian security forces raided Father Nikita.

Image

Turns out he's a Russian FSB agent, a Russian citizen and he's been communicating with Moscow quite extensively. Also turns out he wasn't alone when the agents raided him. There's a few more pictures to share here, but I won't.

It's like they always say; better to be quiet and thought a fool, than to start a war and remove all doubt. Or, something like that.

That sledgehammer is an awesome move, maybe they are supervillians? I think Ukraine is about to be hit with it though.

Howz another 3 million refugees sound Berlin, Italy... everybody else in the coalition of the kinda willing.

Will be interesting to see if the Russians attack again or just wait for the house to fall in on itself.

Ambassador Bush on Russian violations of international humanitarian law.
Since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we have been seriously concerned about Russian violations of International Humanitarian Law. The two Moscow Mechanism reports show we were right to be concerned. The reports noted “clear patterns of serious violations of IHL attributable mostly to the Russian armed forces”. Including the magnitude and frequency of the indiscriminate attacks. Carried out against civilians and civilian objects. Reports of torture. The execution of civilians. Unlawful detention. Enforced disappearances. Targeting civilians on their streets, in their cars, on their bicycles, on their balconies and in their homes. Victim-activated booby traps. The rape of women. The rape of children. Violence towards men. The killing of journalists. Targeting of hospitals, of schools. The use of cluster munitions. Shallow graves. The threat of cholera. The use of filtration centres. These constitute an affront to humanity.

Mr Chair, the targeting of critical civilian infrastructure has continued since these reports were published. Russia is trying to maximise civilian hardship over winter. Last week up to 10 million households were left without electricity. Water supplies have been hit. And we know that vulnerable groups suffer disproportionately – be it the elderly, those with medical conditions or disabilities. As President Putin will be aware, attacks which disproportionately kill civilians, and destroy objects indispensable to the survival of civilians, are prohibited under international humanitarian law. Evidence of war crimes has been mounting including in Bucha, Irpin Borodianka and Izyum with more and more allegations coming to light in Kherson. These actions are morally bankrupt.

snip

We need accountability. Those members of the Russian Government and individual members of the Russian military who have breached international humanitarian law and committed war crimes must be held to account.

Ambassador Bush on the real legacy of Russia's illegal war in Ukraine.
Through its actions, the Kremlin has demonstrated that it prefers war over peace; death over life; chaos over stability; and isolation over cooperation.

snip

Just yesterday, missile strikes on Ukraine plummeted Ukrainian cities into darkness and caused massive blackouts in Moldova. As other colleagues have mentioned, a new-born baby was killed in a missile strike on a maternity unit in the southern Zaporizhzhia region. This baby is but one life amongst thousands of lives lost, because of the decisions of one man, President Putin.

snip

And what has Russia achieved in return? The past nine months have been testament to the grave miscalculation Putin made when he chose to invade a sovereign neighbour. Not only has Russia achieved none of the strategic objectives of his invasion, Putin has underestimated the unwavering bravery and resilience of the Ukrainian people, and the resolve of the international community at every turn.

Nowhere is this clearer than in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kherson. When Putin sent his forces into Ukraine, he thought Kyiv would fall in a matter of days. Whilst his military was being driven back by Ukrainian forces, he declared Kherson part of Russia ‘forever’. Ukraine has shattered Putin’s delusional belief that he could seize Ukrainian sovereign land, and be welcomed by those he sought to subjugate.

Mr Chair, President Putin would have the world believe Russia is liberating Ukraine. However, the real legacy of his illegal war – what his war of choice has actually achieved – will be nothing but death and destruction:

.So far there are more than 16,700 civilian casualties, including over 6,500 killed;
.17.7 million in need of humanitarian assistance;
.over 7.8 million refugees;
.6.5 million internally displaced people; and
.We have just heard from our Ukrainian colleague about the millions who have been left without electricity, water or heating as temperatures have begun to drop below zero.

The Kremlin can continue to try to distract and deny responsibility for the atrocities committed by its military forces, however no lie, no disinformation, no false truths can erase the memories of the countless Ukrainians subjected to atrocities and war crimes. Putin cannot defend robbing Ukraine’s 5.7 million school-age children of a safe and stable education.

snip

Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine has unleashed a Pandora’s Box of suffering, pain, death and devastation on Ukraine and the wider world - but Russia can bring it to an end. Russia needs to cease hostilities, withdraw from within Ukraine’s internationally recognised borders, and adhere to its international obligations and commitments – without conditions.

Only one guy is responsible for this destruction and carnage, but he is not doing it by himself. He has many in power who are allowing it, and many soldiers who are carrying this out. By now, even the foot soldiers must realize they were duped into a war they never intended. So why are all those around Putin allowing this. No one would think this was a good idea at this point. It might have looked promising in Feb, but clearly all the resulting outcomes were not anticipated. All the great minds in the West, and all those on Putin's side, can't figure out how to stop this? One man.
