Kind of morose pic but the slaughter of ill equipped and ill trained Russian conscripts is rather sad.
Also rather sad is the continual drivil from the "devils' advocates"
There is a lot of history in Ukraine that is recent. The eastern Russian speaking parts at one time wanted to lean to Russia while the central and western areas of Ukraine wanted to lean west. The governments after 1991 leaned to Russia and after 2014 and the recent election of Zelensky the Ukrainian bent was to the west and joining the EU.
Not sure how much of the eastern parts of Ukraine still want to be aligned with the corrupt Russians but pretty sure the rest of Ukraine would like to align with the west.

Why don't you guys look up the Uni of Ottawa professor who has done the best, most in-depth analysis of Maidan and what truly happened there. Or Vikki Nuland is just a wholesome American gal, believe what you want I guess.

Gordon Hahn is an expert in Russian politics. Perhaps that explains your lack of understanding?

The Russian border stops at Ukraine and has since 1991. Ta-da! If you want to understand the Revolution of Dignity (and I realize you don't) and the Orange Revolution that proceeded it, you'll need to consider the Ukrainian perspective on it all.

Look at the now very openly published stories of Ukie soldiers "You go to Bakhmut to die". And what do they all say? The shells, the shells. Russia has a now 10:1 artillery advantage. And yet somehow our media publishes stories about Ukraine "grinding up" Russian units by a 5:1 kill ratio. No. They are being sacrificed to buy time.

Time for what? Well, look at Austins comments in Rammstein. The time to pony up is now, send it if you got it cause Ukraine is goin all in for some hail mary spring offensive. Wacht am Rhein redux? It won't get past the start line.

Ukraines political reality is to maintain support they must be seen to be attacking. And the only axis is clearly telegraphed to anyone who looks at a map. Using a bunch of cast off gear, burned out vets, teens and other misc? Its gonna be a slaughter, Im sorry, I hope they don't try.

MEDIA ADVISORY: Camera footage release from U.S. Air Force MQ-9 interaction with Russian SU-27 in Black Sea

The video is out and it shows a number of things. One, the video released yesterday on Russian channels wasn't from this incident. The weather doesn't match. Two, the fuel dump wasn't an accident. Three, the prop did get hit. Four, pick around a few of the other videos on the Dvids site and you'll see this isn't exactly a one off incident.

Two Russian Su-27 aircraft conducted an unsafe and unprofessional intercept with a U.S. Air Force intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance unmanned MQ-9 aircraft operating within international airspace over the Black Sea on March 14, 2023. Well, all-righty then. It was published at 4 and I posted it at 4:15... I'll have to get up a little earlier and move a little faster if I'm going get ahead of you. Apparently.

Brilliant move? We'll see. I'm not sure shell-shocked criminals are going to be integrated back into society quite as easily as you seem to think, but I do watch far too much Russian media and I'm sure that's slanting my outlook on things.

If Putin is a "madman" in control of the world's biggest supply of nuclear weapons, how does openly charging him with war crimes in a kangaroo court de-escalate the situation?

The US is now moreless saying they want to kill Putin.The US and Canada has also expressed in clear language they want to regime change Russia.

Evey thing Putin warned about is coming true. The US is trying to destroy Russia for their own financial gain. NATO wants to destroy Russia and seize their natural resources. The US now is trying to kill Putin.

Is this going to make Russia less paranoid?
