Pretty clear this war isnt between Ukraine and Russia. If it was Russia would have already finished Ukraine off.
This is a war against Russia and Nato(USA) and Russia knows it.

Weird, I don't see any NATO troops in this war whatsoever. If this was a war between Russia and NATO it would be over fast. As it is, it's sounding like it will be over by years end.

Important Russian war propagandist WarGonzo possibly killed in trench

It seems that 'WarGonzo', one of the best-known Russian military bloggers, was killed this week. Semyon Pegov, as his real name was, was seen as a front-line soldier in the Kremlin's information war.

Anyone who follows the war in Ukraine closely has probably seen him. Shouting into his phone on selfie mode, with his characteristic voice reminiscent of Kermit the Frog from the Muppet show.

Whether he is really dead is not certain, but there are images of the Ukrainian marine who allegedly shot him, in a trench near Robotyne. That is south of Zaporizhzhya, where the Ukrainians are now trying to advance. A comparison of the photos from just before his death with the images from the Ukrainian bodycam seems to indicate that it is Pegov.

Maybe watch this, then read the book. There's been Nato troops, specifically US troops, training, blowing off missiles within 10km of Russia's borders for a few years to the lead up of this crap. Most every weapon, missile, piece of equipment Ukraine is using now has come from Nato, again specifically US.
One thing is certain, what the media shares with us locals has zero to do with the realities of this.

Latest is Ukraine has been pushed back to their start lines in the Zapo offensive and have called it off. Meanwhile Russia apparently moving in the Kharkov direction now, likely to secure the border regions. I thought theyd have finished the Donbas first but I guess the Ukie cross border raids an issue.

This is getting interesting. Russia just landed a missile attack on one of PMC Wagner's camps.

Like I say, interesting... but, yet to be confirmed. It's entirely believable that Prigozhin and the Wagner troop are going to make a move after the attack on their base, but I can't say for certain this is from Prigozhin - yet.
