Like Jews, Ukrainians have been in a struggle to have their independence and self-determination. Calling Ukrainians losers is shameful - many of the brightest scientists and artists during the soviet union were Ukrainian. My grandfather came from Ukraine in 1934 by the way. Like Jews, Ukrainians died in one of the two genocides of the last century under two very cruel dictators - the Holocaust, and the Holomor. Do you believe the Holocaust and the Holodomor occurred? Ukrainians fought and struggled for independence for 3 centuries after the fall of the Kyiv'an Rus - the predecessor state of Ukraine - first under the Golden Horde, then the Polish and Lithuanian commonwealth, then the russian tsardom. Chersonesus in Crimea was the baptismal place of Volodomyr the Great - emperor of the Kyiv'an Rus.

Stalin killed many people in the great land of Ukraine - which during its brief period of independence between 1918 an 1922 stretched all the way to the Volga river, and Caspian sea, including present day Sochi. Killed in a genocide that had its peak in 1933 - a policy of De-kulakization - killing nearly 90% of the Ukrainians in the Kuban region, and re-settling the area with Russians - all because they wanted their language, their homeland. 10 million Ukrainians killed.

Vladimir Putin stated "Ukraine is an artificial state", and "Kyiv is the mother of all things Russian" - meaning that he denies that Ukraine should exist - like Iran denies Israel should exist. Clearly, Putin is creating another genocide - going into a sovereign country, and trying to impose his rule of law - a fracticidal war. Ukrainians are within their rights to fight back - Putin is clearly delusional to think not.

I agree. That's why whenever I'm going to say something bad about a 'country' I always
make sure to say:

Ukraine is a corrupt loser basket case
Germany went berzerk in WW2 and slaughtered millions
Poland will do anything for the Americans - for a buck
Israel kills thousands of people - about every seven years.

I never say anything bad about the Polish, Germans, Ukrainians, British or French because it's disgusting to insult
people. It's perfectly okay to insult countries. we live in a little warmonger country ourselves, right now.

No what you just said makes no sense. They are spending way more for their military then just defence. They are spending more because like China they are hoping to be able to fight and win a nuclear war against the US/ West . China is doing the same thing. Russia and China are not warmongers?? And right now their weapons are definitely targeted on pretty much every major city in the US and Canada.

Russia needs some of the military products Ukraine manufactures in the east.

Example:
Ukraine is also home to Motor-Sich, a firm that designs and manufactures aircraft and helicopter engines, as well as turbine engines for pumps for gas, oil and other applications including power-generation. Basically all of Russia's military helicopters use engines made by Motor-Sich.

the West are the weasels who are already waging war on Putin, and don't care how many Ukrainians are killed.

Most of Ukraine's industries are on the eastern part of the country and these regions are prosperous compared to the western section which is agriculture based. The industrialized part of Ukraine has benefited mostly due to trade with Russia. These regions are dominated by ethnic Russians. It was these residents of the wealthier industrial part of Ukraine who voted overwhelmingly for Yanukovich.
