Well, considering most get their flawed and very limited science knowledge from their news source(s) of choice, I would put my money on the media/politicians for the win. Pretty pathetic in my mind.

Why do we even start these threads anymore?

Even if there are people lurking and reading them shouldn't we be embarrassed at the fact that each one of these climate related threads is just the same people bashing their heads against one another again and again? We've already proven that we're not going to be swayed by the other side from our point of view ...

One side says the other is trying to kill the economy ... the other side says we're trying to kill the humans off the planet ... at this point it has just become noise ... I know there is nothing that I can say that won't just be fodder for the other side ... and I know that reading others just makes me want to cringe ...

because it is life or death for the planet . if earth is worth fighting for , what is? stocks an bonds? haha good luck with that . how about we wonder why humans with a brain want the earth and themselves to commit suicide?

As most will know, my fight is on the streets ... two wheels underneath me and as many smiles for the riders aound me as can be seen ... pretending to connect over social media like this isn't real ... community is outside our door, not on the other side of the keyboard ...

What worries me is politicians want the quickest trendiest answers so they immediately jump on scientific studies they agree with. Ten or more years later, some studies are found to be ridiculous and are retracted. The amount of time required to replicate an experiment and prove something wrong takes much longer than publishing bad science and implementing a harmful or wasteful policy.

Science takes time, especially for a large complex systems that can't be measured. Today, we are only pretending that time has been put in.

The article falsely claims weather events are getting strong or more frequent. It is certainly not the case with Atlantic hurricanes as NOAA walks this back in total embarrassment.

If I publish a yearly prediction that hurricane season would be above average, although it never happens, and the fact it never happens is not in the news, what would everyone believe? They would probably believe it was above normal since the science process and media are corrupt and only report one side.


Even before there is time to make this a thread, a new article on castanet comes out.

A prediction from the weather network. They say Canada will experience a 'warmer than normal fall". We are publishing this because it has the word "warmer" in it.

I hope the Farmer's Almanac prediction is wrong - I don't like cold!

We can be sure those still in the thrall of climate alarmism will continue to ignore the failed theories of activist-scientists, while continuing to pressure our governments for more-more-more of the expensive and counterproductive measures already proving inefficient, ineffective, and worse - detrimental. Wasteful.

IMO those still promoting willful ignorance in the name of climate activism are unlikely to ever acknowledge the waste of resources, or the damages done.

Not just the threads, the articles as well are coming faster than the speed of science. Media should be embarrassed by all the fake news they publish. It is cringeworthy.
