bob vernon wrote: Nov 15th, 2022, 9:13 pm Don's motivation to run isn't about winning and saving the world. And it's not about making America great again. It's about fundraising for his PAC. That's his Political Action Committee. It can raise millions. Tens of millions. And if it doesn't get spent...... the candidate gets to keep the leftovers. And Don is definitely a leftover kinda guy. All those hillbillies will be sending him money.

Even moderate Republicans will run the other way and the party will likely nominate somebody else but even if they do nominate Don, it'll just give him more time to fundraise, so he'll rake in even more and keep that PAC money.
It's always about the money with Trump.
He needs it to pay his endless lawyers' fees.
its always about money for all of them left or right ,red or blue,

Trump has always been totally over the top, which made him such an easy target for ridicule it seemed to me a great many folk became too caught up in ridiculing him, as though POTUS was a merely another "reality tv" program or evening soap opera they couldn't get enough of. Like JR Ewing, the guy viewers loved to hate and tuned in to see if this was the Friday he'd get his come-uppance.

Trump was the ideal "JR" for any "news" agencies willing to switch from journalism to "purveyors of drama".

Still miles behind our guy in Canada though. Trump is going to make a great president, again. And the only people to blame here are the Dems. They created this guy, and they are the ones who are going to put him back in power.

That's the real issue.

If it's same old same old Trump's got it made.

This is huge money for anyone in media news. Ratings have been terrible since Trump left. Most low level you-tubers are getting more views than major news networks especially in the under-65 category. Right now Fox has the most amount of under 35 Democratic voters watching.

They all will be over this to make Trump happen again, because you all love to hate him so much.
agree 100%, cnn is loving this bs for ratings only

He was doing relatively ok as long as he was reading from the teleprompter... although he seemed uninspired compared to his typical energy level he usually displays at rallies... but as soon as he went off script, it was a bit of a gong show.
Yup, Trump clearly doesn't have the stamina to be president.

Kind of proves my point. Trump is the guy viewers love to hate, the audience keeps discussing the latest episode around the water cooler and tuning in again and again to see if he'll get his come-uppance. "News" media capitalizes by heightening the drama.

DeSantis Pulls Record-High 2024 Support After Midterms
33% of potential 2024 GOP primary voters would back the Florida governor if the 2024 primary were today, up from 26% ahead of the midterms"

But behind this headline yesterday, Trump was still polling number one.

Trump actually announced he was running on Allie Beth Stuckey's podcast a year ago. I know because I listened to it on the podcast app. Here is the YouTube version.

Going from memory:

Stuckey: Are you running in 2024?
Trump: I can't officially announce I'm running until after the midterms, but I guarantee that you will like my answer.

well he isn't the only President who's been the butt of many jokes and it doesn't bother me that he was a Reality star because Reagan was an actor, but he's getting drunk on his power now, and he's so mean when he speaks of his opponents, he needs to back down now. Pretty sure he isn't running for President again because he wants to help his Country it's more like it's all about helping himself and feeding his ego.
