Hey, with Trudeau and Biden heading that way next week maybe the Mexican govt will release Guzman, again, with a promise to behave.

We were in Manzanillo a few years ago and the govt had sent in about a thousand federal police because a cartel was trying to take over the port, and it's a huge port.
I never felt safer with these cops driving around, machine guns mounted on their trucks.
A number of them were staying in a hotel near us, all were friendly, smiles, waves, big scary guns.
Had one of our grandkids with us and he was quite impressed.

American and Canadian jets landing and taking off in Mazatlan today. Canada resumed yesterday. So, 2-3 days disruption.
No tourist in Mazatlan was ever threatened by a cartel thug. Not even a threat, let alone the picture MSM was portraying.

Well good for the business community that the cartels, who probably run the businesses with laundered money, saw that their tactics shot their cash registers in the foot.

The biggest businesses that the Mexican cartels run are the hotels, which are one of the best ways to launder cash, if you own an hotel, you can show it as 95% full on the books even tho' it may be only 10% occupied. (do you suppose that trump may have understood this??)

Media and Tina Dahl seemingly looking for her ten minutes of fame at any expense.

I was particularly annoyed by the repeated use of the term "barricaded in", as though people had their doors and windows nailed shut so they couldn't get out, which was as far from the truth as you could get.

The only other explanation for Dahl's statements that I could come up with, was that perhaps her family down there are completely clueless as to where they are, and were actually in Culiacan rather than Mazatlan.

MSM meanwhile are so despicable that they could have ten people in a room to interview, nine of which would say things were fine, then along comes drama queen Dahl whose version of the story they go with because it makes for far better click bait.
