IMO the world population must be better stewards of the limited non renewable & even renewable resources.
This is best achieved by starting with the individual use or misuse of these resources, rather than dictating others.

Can't call her book hypocritical or her a hypocrite, since her brain is far from being developed and this poor girl is being steered by scrupulous progressive woke wef globalist activists.
She is a victim (similar to the jugend from the 1930's) and brainwashed by those who suppose to care and protect her, but instead showered her with fantasies of glorie and an everlasting euphoria on the one hand and fear & destruction on the other hand.

To all those supporting the progressive woke wef globalist ideology and doctrine, the knowledge & experience needed to create a better world, is available.

If the world & environment is in crisis and is that bad, why not return to a lifestyle, strictly "living off the land", without any use of "technology" that would jeopardize the balance of mother nature.
Just ask our earlier settlers how they survived, prior to the colonialist invasion as an example, since these inhabitants, who came across the Bering Strait ice bridge some 18,000 years ago and survived.
This in itself is nothing short of a miracle, by today's standards and all credits go out to the Inuit and those who eventually occupied North, Central & South America and were able to survive & multiply over that period.

For all our current progressives who admire this child, this is the moment to shine. Adapt and sign on to the lifestyle that successfully survived these settlers for thousands of years, have inhabited the Americas' for nearly 18,000 years in mainly stone age fashion and are still with us today, so they can brief the progressives on how this was done.
An ease choice, from death & world destruction before 2199 to 18,000 more years of an euphoria and all that is needed is, just walk your talk.

I've yet to read Greta's book too, but it seems to me you might more prefer to read something along these lines from America and Finland (by scolders too), both of which I've read and then enjoyed practicing some of the suggestions contained within.
