Re: Tucker Carlson hates Trump "passionately"
AND, Im still waiting on someone to share a link to this story, where the FNC admit they lie to their audience. Or is this just another left wing, echo chamber screaming point?
"How can this be considered acceptable behavior for the President?"

Re: Tucker Carlson hates Trump "passionately"
It's everywhere to read except on Fox News.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rupert-mur ... efamation/Fox Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch acknowledged that some Fox News commentators endorsed the false allegations by former President Donald Trump and his allies that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and that he didn't step in to stop them from promoting the claims, according to excerpts of a deposition unsealed Monday.
snip
The recently unsealed documents include excerpts from a deposition in which Murdoch was asked about whether he was aware that some of the network's commentators — Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro and Sean Hannity — at times endorsed the false election claims. Murdoch replied, "Yes. They endorsed."
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/f ... rt-filingsFox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch said under oath that he believes the 2020 presidential election was free, fair and not stolen, according to court filings released Tuesday in a voting machine company’s defamation lawsuit over Fox News’ coverage of former President Donald Trump’s false election fraud claims.
snip
In excerpts of Murdoch’s questioning released earlier, he acknowledged that he didn’t stop various Fox News commentators from promoting baseless claims from Trump allies that the election was stolen, even though he could have.
He also acknowledged that some of the network’s hosts — Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro and Sean Hannity — at times endorsed the false claims.

Under questioning, Murdoch said he doubted any massive fraud had occurred and said then-Attorney General William Barr’s statement on Dec. 1, 2020, that there was no significant voter fraud “just closed it for me.”
Murdoch even worried about Trump, telling a friend in an email that the commander-in-chief was “apparently not sleeping and bouncing off walls!”
“The real danger is what he might do as president,” Murdoch added in the message, as he recalled under questioning.
Still, Murdoch defended his network’s coverage of Trump’s claims of fraud, even as he privately bemoaned them.
“This was big news,” Murdoch said. “The president of the United States was making wild claims, but that is news.”
snip
Some of the network’s biggest stars also privately expressed disbelief in the claims made by Trump allies, but aired the claims anyway. “Sydney Powell is lying,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said in a text to a producer, referencing one of the attorneys pushing the claims for Trump. Host Laura Ingraham texted Carlson that Powell is “a complete nut.”
Murdoch called her a “crazy, would-be lawyer” in another email to a friend, he told Dominion’s attorneys.

You live in a cave or something? It came out in discovery in a defamation trial. Remember when Fox lied about Dominion voting machines being compromised in an effort to undermine the voting results in the last election? Turns out they lie about everything.

In all seriousness, this is the big lie? Murdoch doesnt believe the election was stolen, but allowed some of his commentators to voice their opinion and state they felt it was? Showing instances where fraud was discovered? Trying my best to understand this one. A large percentage of the US population questioned the vote (as supporters of both parties have done in the past), and as Murdoch stated, this was big news. Where's the big lie? A few Fox commentators showed bias in stating their opinion. We've never seen this on numerous msm outlets? Especially when it came to Trump, or the Republican party in general? If Im reading this right, people are upset because Murdoch didnt censor his commentators, thus the news.PoplarSoul wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2023, 7:58 amIt's everywhere to read except on Fox News.https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rupert-mur ... efamation/Fox Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch acknowledged that some Fox News commentators endorsed the false allegations by former President Donald Trump and his allies that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and that he didn't step in to stop them from promoting the claims, according to excerpts of a deposition unsealed Monday.

The commentators didn't believe it either and lied for ratings. People believed these lies and it undermines democracy.65deluxe wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2023, 8:50 amIn all seriousness, this is the big lie? We have seen far too much biased information coming from every single media source out there. Not one has been proven to be not part of this. CNN's fired its previous CEO, and the new one fully acknowledged they used their news to feed people with a bias leaning towards the democrats. MSNBC, in my opinion is the worse outside of CBC, for this tendency.
Zuckerberg actually admitting censoring as much material as possible that would discredit Hunter Bindens father before the election.
What we do see here is such power in controlling peoples minds through this manipulation the politicians and rich through their media have realized.
Fortunately must others can just take a stand on morals and ethics and call them all out for it.

Re: Tucker Carlson hates Trump "passionately"
This topic is about Tucker Carlson hating Trump despite promoting him on air. Start a new one on CNN. There's a CBC one in Canada forum. They are not two sides of the same coin. Fox News has been a poison to society. People believe these conspiracy theories, like the ones you’ve posted, directly because of Fox pushing them. The commentators don't even believe them themselves. This channel is being played regularly in not only homes but public spaces like airports and in military spaces. It's changing people for the worse, they feel like they're watching news but it's propaganda. The network is actively promoting propaganda and working directly with one party. There is not an equivalent to that in left wing news. Sure there's issues we can discuss elsewhere. Fox News is eroding Democracy. That's a larger problem.liisgo wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2023, 9:44 am65deluxe wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2023, 8:50 am

Trump is so far behind in the polls the only possible way he could be the next president is if he get arrested. That will boost his popularity enough to make the election interesting, and probably the next president.Rjamer wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2023, 7:01 am Trump expects to be arrested Tuesday as DA eyes charges ,,, https://www.castanet.net/news/World/416 ... ges#416761 ,,,,,,,, LOCK HIM UP !!!!![]()
I wonder if Trump is paying someone to arrest him now just so he could get the presidency.
Trump in handcuffs would be a huge selling feature to be the next president

To draw a direct line between the above post and Tucker lying to his viewers about the outcome of the election.
While ratings and selling pillows were proven to be the reason they knowingly lyed to their loyal viewers. Lying was also a way to get out of admitting that their threats of holding Trump accountable would inspire him to a presidential win, were completely hollow.

Bill Clinton's popularity went up after a sex scandal. I personally don't like Trump or Clinton with respect their sexual improprieties, but clearly I'm an odd duck in that respect.

People who don't despise Trump for his attitude towards women, his criminal and treasonous behavior and his constant manipulation of the weak minded and stupid really are a special breed of gullible idiots.

The only "gullible idiots" are the people who do despise Trump, because they are so freaking dense and backward thinking that they believe everything that their far Left echo chambers have fed them. There's no such thing as gay rights, minority rights, trans rights or women's rights.
There are only individual rights. Either we all have the same rights, or we're just groups of special interests fighting for preferential treatment.
