Clearly these people don't have enough to do. This is almost as dumb as Stockholm changing their plowing cycles so that they plow bike lanes first, because plowing roads first is "sexist", as more women cycle in Stockholm to work than men, while men drive cars.

So thousands of people who take public transit can't get to work in snowstorms as the plows are out plowing bike lanes. This is how dumb PC nonsense can get.

“I think it’s the only hope for democracy in America and I will be leading a great movement to prohibit straight white males, who I believe supported Donald Trump by about 85 percent, from exercising the franchise and I think that will save our democracy,” Clifford said during an interview after speaking at the forum “Destroying the Myths of Market Fundamentalism,” which was organized by the Center for Study of Responsive Law – a group former independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader founded in 1968.

Clifford, author of the book CEO Pay Machine: How it Trashes America and How to Stop it, urged Democrats to explain their policy proposals to voters rather than focus on the reasons they oppose President Trump.

Anthony Stansfeld, the police commissioner for Thames Valley , has called for a review of hate crime laws

An elderly woman had to be questioned as a hate criminal after beeping her car horn at a black driver due to existing rules, a police commissioner says.
Hate crime regulations forced police to quiz the pensioner under caution because the other driver reported it as one, said Anthony Stansfeld, the commissioner for Thames Valley.
The other driver was "taking ages" at a petrol station, so the woman, in her seventies, beeped her horn to get her to move, he revealed.
Mr Stansfeld described the woman as a "pillar of society" and called for a review of current rules after the woman had to be questioned on suspicion of a hate crime.
He told the Sunday Times that current laws mean detectives have to investigate anything that is “perceived” to be a hate crime, which could result in “huge injustices”.
He added: "It was an absolute classic. An elderly couple turned up at a petrol station and there was a woman who had filled up with petrol in front of them.

Now it's 'snowPEOPLE' not 'snowmen'! Furious parents blast BBC bosses after CBeebies show uses 'politically correct' language to 'indoctrinate' children

The BBC have sparked a fierce debate after a new children's TV show used the term "snowpeople" instead of snowmen.
Catie Munnings, 20, who presents Catie's Amazing Machines on CBeebies, said during a recent episode: "Snow is amazing. You get to build snowpeople and go sledging."
However, not everyone agreed with the presenter using the politically correct term.
One dad, Simon Gurd, fumed on Twitter: "Put CBeebies on for my daughter and they are referring to 'snow people'. More PC garbage and indoctrination from the BBC. Another reason to abolish the licence fee."
Another dad named Chris said: "Got cbeebies on for the kids, talking about snow and how you can build "snow people" so we can't even say snowman now more".
However, while some blasted the use of gender-neutral term, many backed a campaign last winter which claimed using the term "snowman" is outdated.
It came amid numerous movements to increase awareness around gender-fluid and non-binary people.
One parent wrote on social media: "Do I want to build a snowman? no , but I'm down for building a genderless snow figure".
Another said: "Our kids had a great day building snowpeople."
Piers Morgan, who is frequently outspoken about gender-neutral terms, got in on the debate tweeting: "Right, I’m off to build a non-binary gender fluid snowperson".

‘Long time, no see’ is considered offensive language at Colorado State University



At Colorado State University (CSU), administrators have designated the common greeting “long time, no see” as non-inclusive language.

That’s according to a student, Katrina Leibee, who writes for the campus paper, The Rocky Mountain Collegian. Leibee met with Zahra Al-Saloom, director of diversity and inclusion at CSU, who showed her a list of terms and phrases considered contrary to the university’s mission of fostering inclusion.

“One of these phrases was ‘long time, no see,’ which is viewed as derogatory towards those of Asian descent,” wrote Leibee.
