Sigh is right. GordonH already brought it up so I'm not understanding your point. This was not in a public venue and many establishments can and do request clothing.

My body, my choice right? What age is appropriate to stop breastfeeding then in your mind?

When they have a set of teeth and should be in little league. At what age do you think is appropriate to wean a human child off?
That kid is old enough to have 2-3 younger siblings.[/quote]

Let's do the math together, shall we?

1st set of teeth:

So, according to the image above incisor teeth are the 1st, and most likely to cause the mother pain @ 6 - 12 months old. The child in the photo is at least 5 YEARS old and heading off to grade 1.
Does that mean that a mother should have 5 years between children, just because the 1st one ain't done suckling yet?

By 5 years old, a child should be way past a pacifier, and well into solid foods. They will have shown their preference for the foods they like and the ones they don't. AND they will be out of diapers and fully potty trained.

So nine years old is out of the question?

What is it to you if the mother feels there are health benefits (both here and the child) even at this age?
It’s weird that many people on here saying that is inappropriate or too old to be breastfeeding are people that are pro choice for abortions, mandating masks, etc...

Seems hypocritical to me.

6 people posting about it including you leaves maybe a couple thinking it's inappropriate - hardly many.

It's perfectly normal for a mother to breastfeed her child in public, why do others sexualize it? If a mother wants to breastfeed her child till je or she is five then that's her choice not ours.
