Not here. There are avenues to deal with homeless people and no one has the right to disrupt a business. Gallo caused more problems and he should have known better.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

Given the frustration level that the cop must have been at toward the end, it is amazing that she didn't handcuff the loudmouth twit and escort him outside.
What might have been a generous and compassionate gesture was ultimately ruined because the gifter couldn't control himself.

And the title of this thread is more than a bit misleading once you watch the video.

Let me make this very clear: This man wasn't kicked out because he bought a homeless man a burger. BOTH of them were kicked out (or had been banned) because they were disturbing other customers.
If I go to a place of business where I'm harassed/disturbed by other customers - I'm not coming back. Same can be said for the majority of other potential customers out there.

Funny I didnt see the homeless man disturb or disrupt anyone or anything. Perhaps you have vision I dont. Please provide.
As for the man who kindly bought and gave food to the poor, homeless and hungry man I suspect he was not disruptive or loudly outspoken until he was told the homeless man was not entitled to stay in the establishment to eat the food purchased for him.
I think most human beings with heart still engaged would have also expressed disappointment with emotion and louder verbage than they would in a situation in which people were treated with basic goodness.

Full transparency: I managed a McDonalds restaurant in a previous lifetime. I know their policies pretty well.
You'd like to jump to the conclusion that McDonalds employees are heartless and kicked a man out of their store for no reason other than he's homeless. I'd prefer to take a more logical approach and suggest they've had problems with this individual in the past. Liklely that same day shortly prior to the camera rolling. How do you think this customer knew the man was homeless and needed a meal? Do you have no suspicion that perhaps he had approached this customer in the parking lot?
The "Kind Man" caused enough of a disturbance that police were called and they arrived in short order. I don't know what your threshold is but for me "Police had to come" definitely passes the litmus test for disturbing other customers.
Most humans would respond in such a strong way you say? So tell me - looks like the restaurant was pretty busy at the time. Everyone in that store heard the commotion. Why didn't the other customers respond in such a way?
Let me give you some insight into McDonalds. That organization cares about 1 thing and 1 thing only... MONEY. They'll gladly sell a meal to anyone who can pay. They only kick out customers who are costing them money. In this case - costing them money by driving off other customers.
Part of my job was kicking customers out. Here's the most common reasons:
- Disturbing other customers by begging.
- Disturbing other customers by being loud/disruptive.
- Causing damage to the store
- Causing undue mess.
- Yelling or insulting to my employees
- Sexual harassment of employees or other customers.
- Threats to other customers or employees.
- Weapons brought into the store.
- Actions that put the store, employees, or customers at risk.
Kicking someone out simply because I didn't like the look of them, because they were homeless, because I'm racist, etc would have quickly cost me my job. McDonalds hates bad PR.

Ashtrays, in dining room? Surely you are being sarcastic, yes?
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

7 paragraphs to say what exactly?
That you have dreamt up your own version of events to suit your opinion on the matter.
I, unlike you, have not and will not jump to conclusions on any matter.
What I witnessed in the video is the most basic fundamental problem with our society today - profit over humanity.

Why would you if it wasn't on the video? Videos don't tell the whole story and there was already a pre-existing situation with this particular man as you well know.Because_They_Lie wrote:Funny I didnt see the homeless man disturb or disrupt anyone or anything.

Full transparency: a lot of fast food restaurants are run or at least primarily managed by teen-aged children and or people who have absolutely no business training.
It's funny how people are acting like businesses always treat every individual customer with the same manner of respect. A well run business? Yes, but most are not, not even close. It wouldn't surprise me if this homeless man was banned from the restaurant for his appearance and nothing more but it's impossible to tell without somehow viewing past events.

Proof he accosted customers? Or are we taking a random manager's word for it?
On one hand you're saying that a video doesn't tell the whole story. On the other hand you're taking a manager's word as gospel. I'd personally like to hear the homeless man's side of the story but unfortunately that's impossible.
