Arrested in Syria

Post by Bsuds »

So this Doofus goes to Syria for an adventure and gets thrown in jail. WTH did he expect?

Sorry but I don't think he is too smart for making that choice.

I am glad he got released though.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

Countries in the Middle East are not renowned for their tolerance towards foreigners who are ignorant of their culture, language and laws.

I was also thinking that he had no business being there. Unfortunately not all the World is our oyster from our privileged side of the World, where we are taught "kum by ya" and smiling crosses all cultures. "All you need is laughter"!

He's lucky to be out.
An idiot.
But a lucky one.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Only complete idiot would go to a war zone as a tourist.

example: where to go on summer vacation in 1969, I got it Vietnam

Hey everyone, we can't judge people like this anymore. It's not his fault. He grew up in a country where you can do nothing wrong (drugs, theft, etc). He was givin participation ribbons just for trying. Why should he worry out Syria? He just wanted to see the people! Because the government didn't get him home in 30 days he probably deserves $10 million too.

He doesn't seem much more intelligent then the Canadian who took his American wife to Afghanistan. I wonder if Justin will pose with this guy too.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.
