I respectfully disagree. Saving $250 is not small change and refurvbs can be good as new.
If it was a new 8 VS the se it would be no contest .

I suspect the apple A13 chip processor is considerably better than apple A11 chip.
SE 2nd generation has the A13 chip and iPhone 8 is number of years older with A11 chip, if I was buying I’d going better chip.
I have absolutely no need for smartphone, until my phone no longer can make calls I will stick with it.
