Well if there is a good side to the pandemic it would be that car dealerships are anxious for our business.

We just scored an awesome deal on a new 2021 car.

We almost walked out 3 times and they kept sweetening the pot. Surprisingly they didn't even try to down size us to a cheaper model. They just kept making the deal better on what we wanted which was a top of the line model.

The even wanted us to only take the one we test drove but we wanted a different color. (White)

Should be delivered sometime by next Saturday.

I can't wrap my brain around present pricing.

The most I ever paid for a past vehicle was $5000.00

Now I'm shopping again and it seems there are typos on all
adds that added another zero in there. <cough>

Even 10 year old miled out vehicles are seemingly coated in
gold and platinum.

So, I check the inventory of F150s at one dealer near me, and almost all of them retail for $70,000
and up. I'm not making this up.



That's obscene. So they drop the price by $10,000 - still insane. And I was going to comment on how something is very wrong in this country when it comes to new vehicles, when
I saw this



for only $18,000. Wow. I'd buy it if I needed a new car.

Could that really be true - brand new Trax for only $18,000?

When every new F150 on the lot is $70,000 and up, do you think I'm going to look around "for a deal?"

I'm going to go in and ask for $7,000 off?

And at the GM dealers, one or two half ton pickups are $38,000 on sale and all the rest are over $45,000. (sale price)

The world is getting more unfair and disgusting every day.
Governments have allowed the rich to get richer for the last twenty years, at the poor's expense.

I wonder if we can change that?

^^^ Just imagine how much vehicles would be if there were no robotics assembling large chunks of the vehicle. I suspect at least double the current price tag.
