Plus another 61 mil just before the election.
Amazing to see some of the recipients that have Nothing to do with news or politics.

Massive protests around the world?
Funny wouldn't you say?
Our local media showed lots of those "around the world protests"
Mmm..not a peep concerning the protest in the good old city of Kelowna.
Lots of coverage on the anniversary of a over 40 year old terry Fox run.
By the way, does anyone remember the name Steve Fonyo? Just asking!

Was there a protest of any significant size ? Like you say, there's not much being said in the media. I had some acquaintances on social media who had been talking it up for the past couple of weeks but it got pretty quiet there.Mrmarvingardens wrote: ↑Sep 18th, 2021, 8:01 pm Mmm..not a peep concerning the protest in the good old city of Kelowna.

Re: Covid protests and the media
I have to wonder if the wave of public outcry following the incidents in the Salmon Arm area schools this past Friday have had any effect on media coverage of anti-vaxxers in general. If attention is what these people are after, doesn't it make sense that depriving them of that attention might take some of the wind out of their sails ?

If they wanted attention, they got it. If they wanted to win hearts and minds, they are working counter-productive to their objective. If they don't give da*m about anyone else but themselves, they showed that loud and clear.

20000 morons in the Okanagan (aka anti science/anti vax) revealed their numbers when they voted PPC: “What interested me was seeing the outweighed vote given to the People’s Party of Canada in the Okanagan, well above the provincial and national averages, as high as 10 per cent in Vernon.” *bleep* Ed opinion.
