Re: Vax Passport tip
We went to the casino tonight for the 1st time since the vax passport requirement. They did not scan our vax passports, only looked at them on our phones, along with our ID. I would have thought the casinos (you know - BCLC - government) of any business would actually scan the QR code. Nope - just looked at it. Not that I really care one way or another, just thought it interesting.

I guess pushing buttons on the machines isn't considered strenuous activities like a gym.Nooby wrote: ↑Sep 24th, 2021, 8:33 pm We went to the casino tonight for the 1st time since the vax passport requirement. Re: Vax Passport tip
I finally used my passport in a Comox bar the other day.
She just glanced at it. No scanning or asking for any other ID.
I was talking to a couple friends about it today, and saying I could probably just text them the photo and no one would know the difference.
However with that in mind, many years ago I was working in retail and people still had to sign their credit card slips.
I never compared their signature.
I looked at the back of their card with one eye and watched their expression with the other.
If they looked nervous, I knew it wasn't their card.
The busy establishments are probably using the same technique as I was.
