For myself there are 2 protest events that spoke volumes about the anti-vaxxers.
1) Outside KGH
2) Kelowna Cenotaph

Nothing wrong with protest, but when the minority take command it's time to shut them down. For some reason though, even if they are breaking the law, they are allowed to get away with it. Seems to be a different standard for the loud and obnoxious few.

But all those examples involved the crossing of moral lines by the protesters. While those protests may have been "peaceful" in the technical definition of the word, they were all still assaults on the sanctity of Remembrance Day. I don't see how protesters like this should earn repsect when they choose to show so little of it themselves.

I had that same thought. As long as these lunatics don't breed then perhaps the stupid gene can be stamped out.

While I found the anti-vax protestors on Remembrance day to be vile, I also find any protesters who do not respect others to be vile. Lizzy May chaining herself to a fence and blocking workers from doing their jobs, people who just want to feed their families, is vile. I do agree with Fluffy here, there's a thin line between protest and extremism, and emotional manipulation is being used far too often by groups on both sides of the ledger to push agendas.

Protests are not only for people who lean on one side politically. You can drop the Leftists and Rightists and such. There is no one "side" of politics where everyone acts the same way or are fat babies.
