And no, I'm not trying to sell the house, but I am going to say, "take a look at the home made greenhouse in the backyard."
And only IMO, the garden beds are too wide and too close together, but maybe it works for them. But that greenhouse! Giving me ideas now!

This just in: Berry bushes are in the garden centers now. We note that Saskatoon berry bushes are $15 each, two different varities, Smokey and ??. I do not know what variety I have anymore, but I do know the berries are large and it produces a heavy crop.

We scored two Duke Blue Berry bushes and soil acidfier. Pineapple Sage too.

So much coming in. If you are tired of waiting to see what's left over at the end of June, go see what's in now.

We planted onions today as well. Perfect timing right before the rain.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!

Yesterday I spotted a huge greenhouse on someone front yard and the spinach actually looked old. Not greenhouse exactly, more like a metal rod structure with a huge swath of clear plastic.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a leaf shredder? We have always shredded the leaves with an old lawnmower but due to health reasons I can't pull the start cord anymore. I need an electric lightweight machine that I can handle.
I know we could purchase an electric lawnmower but that would be the only thing we would use it for and I think it just makes more sense to purchase a shredder.
Anyone use one?

we use an electric leaf blower, vac and mulcher...works great for us !! just don't let the bag get too full because it can get very heavy and also rip (we have a Black and Decker)

My Elephant Garlic is coming up! I saw that Art Knapp's on Benvoulin has some left yet.

Sorry Pbear, can't help with a shredder recommendation.

Getting lots done in the garden! Clean up, finding new plants popping up and we put out a full green bin this morning.
Not looking forward to this, but the rest of the day is devoted to pruning rose bushes. Thorns, lots and lots of thorns.
