That alone should scare you.
You don't scare me, it's Mrs. Sudsy that I am afraid of.

Today I harvested chard, 2 large cukes, an entire colander full of cherry tomatoes and 5 Black Krim tomatoes. Tomorrow I harvest beans.
I haven't failed until I quit.

We have pulled all our Snow Peas and Pea Peas.
Beans are still producing like crazy and we have many bags (enough for 2 ) in the freezer.
Dills are pickled 17 jars of Apricot jam put away and just waiting on Peaches for canning.

We got a little slack with the 'scarecrows' and had a couple of buck deer gnoshing on the apple tree.
Amazing how they keep the wild life out. Had a bear hopping the fence in the spring, set one up where it was coming in, no more bear.

We're lost but we're making good time.

I regret to admit that until yesterday I have never in my life had a donut/saturn peach. Got some yesterday thanks to our neighbor, devoured 3 and the rest are now in the oven in a peach crisp. Nice thing about cooler weather, we can turn the oven on

We are now being inundated with green beans, zucchini and patty pans.
Tomatoes aren't far behind, just a couple of edibles each day but next week......
Those 9 or 10 plants will be as red as they are green.
I picked the last of our garlic yesterday and they look great. Our best year ever.
So now I have a question for other gardeners, what fall harvest plant should I put in their place? Something that can be planted and harvested before the frost hits too hard?

Only cherry tomatoes are ripe here. Roma's are getting big but are still very green.
We have only harvested one cuke.

The very best suggestion is to check out Dr. Brian Minter's website where he recommends fall food crop planting. He is so knowledgeable about B.C. Zones and what grows best and where. He is the go-to guy with all the credentials.
I sadly note that in his recent photos this genial gent has aged since I first met him. (So have I).... who can replace him?

So far so good - almost enough for a good size "Close Encounters" mountain sculpture

If theres a next year we'll try a larger type and bigger crop

There is a very suspicious looking spud "planted" in the center of lower box...hmmm....
Should I delete or just go full steam ahead to a full ban?![:haha: [icon_lol2.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_lol2.gif)

Lol - yes there were a few weird looking units in there, but whatever you decide is fine with me.
