I have 1" valves running from 3/4" and even 1/2" pipes. The fittings are available. Just go to Rona or home depot and look and I have never paid $12 for a fitting or coupling.

I find Rona always has a better selection in stock.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

I've always gone here https://vankel.ca/ Van-Kel Irrigation.

They are at 199 Pinto Rd (off Sexsmith in Kelowna).

Their prices are generally better and you're getting the professional product. Also, they offer advice if you want it. When I put my own irrigation in a few years back I was in there every few weeks and they were most helpful.
I haven't failed until I quit.

Growers Supply on Acland road is another good option when it comes to irrigation fittings and components at a reasonable price.
