Re: NHL
We can say the best team won tonight.
Can the Canucks beat the Oilers one more time? Can the Oiler beat the Canucks twice? Im betting on the Canucks.

You have been treated to some great hockey. With the fans and all, the other series have been a bit ho-hum.
Bostons game tonight will be interesting!

Re: NHL
I was born and raised a Bruins fan. Sadly Im not holding out much hope for them as they haven't looked good this series. They're not playing with their usual confidence.
You are right though. compared to the Canucks-Edmonton series, watching the others does seem ho-hum.

Re: NHL
The series I am rather surprised about is the Dallas vs Colorado, I was expecting Dallas to steamroll right over Colorado. Because Colorado weakness is goaltending.

Re: NHL
Outside of the Canuck-Edmonton series this one has been the most enjoyable to watch. Dallas Vs Vancouver, or Edmonton should be a good battle. I question whether either will get by Dallas though. To much depth I think.

I'm following Dallas as they have a rookie on the team who at this time last year, as a 19 year old, he was playing in the Memorial Cup.
Logan Stankoven, 5' 7" and already has 3 playoff goals.

I was pulling for the Bruins when they had Zdeno Chara, but I'm happy to see Brad Marchand gone.65deluxe wrote: ↑May 17th, 2024, 7:26 amI was born and raised a Bruins fan. Yup, great game and interesting comments between periods about the usual questionable refing.

Good bye Boston Bruins, so Eastern Finals is now set:
Florida Panthers at the New York Rangers
Now will Colorado hold on for a game 7 or not.

Re: NHL
So will Vancouver close out the series tonight or will Edmonton force a game 7, whomever wins this series moves onto Dallas Stars for Western Conference Championship.

Re: NHL
We're hoping the Canucks finish off the Oilers tonight but I always wonder if the players get paid the more games they have in the playoffs?
Seems like so many series go the 7 games.
